Welp, looks like they are FINALLY getting Nothing's Shocking by Jane's Addiction out of the way.
I was reading Harmonix's official post on it, and it seems like 85% of them (and I agree) are saying "good to get it out of the way, what's after that?"
I agree with the Spoony one on Jane's Addiction. Annoying as sin band that has a really bad lead singer. If you ARE, however, mandated to add them, at least put their only decent song, Got Caught Stealing.

I can't stand singing that Jane's Addiction song on RB2 (or GH: World Tour). Definitely one of my least favorite RB tracks, along with Disturbed's Down with the Sickness (why oh why did I even touch a setlist called "MTV Showcase"?! At least it had Girl's Not Grey, but the rest was mostly crap. DEAR GOD I HATE DISTURBED AND AVENGED SEVENFOLD).
What I do like, however, is GNR's Chinese Democracy! Street of Dreams, Better, the title track and especially This I Love are an absolute blast to sing. This I Love doesn't exactly have much to do as far as the band is concerned, but it's a song where the singer can really show off his epic banshee wail skills. ;D

At least the Country Pack was awesome, especially the Brad Paisley and Brooks & Dunn songs.

People are still playing this? It's Metallica time, folks. Haha well said sir, I even imported the game! Alas, nobody in my Uni likes Metallica that much, so I still primarily play RB2. Oh yeah, own up, who downloaded Last Resort before previewing it and realising that it was a crappy version?

At least the Country Pack was awesome, especially the Brad Paisley and Brooks & Dunn songs. Can't say I disagree at all. Miranda Lambert's song was suprisingly fun on guitar, and I enjoy Brooks and Dunn. Only song I didn't download was the Dixie Chicks song.

Finally Jane's Addiction. Hopefully they will announce some more full albums. Most importantly, I hope they release some of those songs from previous games before Smash Hits becomes available. Free Bird master and Queen!!!

I can't stand listening to them because Perry has one of the most annoying voices in music ever. Dave Navarro's a really talented musician, though. I also really want to see some Queen in Rock Band. A Greatest Hits album pack would be incredible.

I'd personally like to see some more obscure bands like Baumer, Under the Influence of Giants, Men Women & Children, or People in Planes get some of their songs into Rock Band, but none of them are really what anybody would call "Fan Favorites", nor are they super-hard-ass-metal (so they wouldn't be ultra-high-difficulty), so chances are they wouldn't sell much...
But it'd sure make me buy those songs.

They have already experimented with more obscure bands (MTV2 pack, Roadrunner pack, Locksley, their in house bands, etc.), and those really don't sell, and are a bog on the server. I seriously doubt they'll release too many bands that aren't upper tier or household names in the near future.
I mean, look at who they have in the future... Jackson 5, Alice in Chains, 3 Doors Down, etc.

My band's name is No More Heroes! but it looks like someone else already took the name. I've been coming up with other names for bands, but I haven't been online yet with anyone. I'm waiting to move into my new place and play with my friend that I'm staying with now. Playing mostly bass and vocals, but not well.

Man, this disappoints me. My knees have gotten so horrible that it hurts to just walk, so playing drums is pretty much out for me. I'll just stick with guitar for now, as bass can be pretty boring...
