Weezer DLC Pack 02 My Name is Jonas www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdefe7l7_ZcPork and Beans www.youtube.com/watch?v=muP9eH2p2PIUndone - The Sweater Song www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqgN0T6f1kgTo go along with "Buddy Holly", "El Scorcho", "Dreamin'", "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived", and "Troublemaker" DLC, and "Say It Ain't So" from Rock Band 1 and solo song: Damone - Out Here All Night www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXNQt9Joe-QThoughts: A pretty great week. I'd love for them to just release the entire Blue Album from Weezer, but this is a step in the right direction. Certainly going to get "Undone" and "My Name Is Jonas", and maybe "The Rock Show", and I'll see about Damone. All in all, much better than the garbage that has been coming out for the past 5 or so weeks.

And yet another reason to not regret getting rid of Guitar Hero 3. All I need is Bulls On Parade and Cult of Personality and they'd have every song I liked in GH3 on the Rock Band platform in some way.
I'll definitely get the Weezer pack, as I really like Undone and Porks and Beans a lot. Probably the Blink pack, too.

Hell yeah! I'm actually glad they picked songs like 100,000 Years and Parasite instead of, say, Rock and Roll All Nite or Shout It Out Loud.

Yup. That's it. Nothing on the Country Pack or Unplugged... just Spinal Tap...

Yeah, I'm not too into Spinal Tap. Never were my thing. I am just waiting hand and foot on the Country and Unplugged packs.

Yeah, I'm not too into Spinal Tap. I'm not that big a fan either, to be honest. The movie is funny and I like a few songs (Stonehenge, Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight and a couple others), but I'm certainly not going to get that whole track pack.

Can't imagine anyone would... ...then again, people DID download freaking Jane's Addiction Meanwhile, my Rock Band Mancrush band, Ghost Hounds (if you have 160 Fun Bucks, and want a decent song, get Wind Me Up!), get NOTHING!

Hey, does anyone know how this new thing is supposed to work?
I saw on Attack of the Show how new bands can get their music as limited time DLC Dare I ask how? (As, in all honesty, I would love to see a video of someone spittin my flows ;D)

Basically, it's supposed to be similar to the XBox Community Games, where people can chart their own songs, then set it up for review. Once an independent group reviews it (for the obvious, no offensive material, no too sexually explicit stuff, no hate speech, etc). This is designed to encourage undiscovered bands to perform, in addition to fans getting bands who Harmonix normally wouldn't put in, to get in the game.
So hey, who knows, I may get to see Sister Hazel, Cake, Kutless, and The Shys in Rock Band some day...
This is completely different from the Guitar Hero one, as it is actual music uploaded, not just a MIDI track.
And, ultimately, it has to be a complete band experience, so chances of someone "spitting your flows" is not going to happen unless you have a full band backing you up.

Well, I read that people are pushing for more "mash ups" to be added. There IS a chance to see the rock/rap hybrid that I hated so much back in the late 90's...

Pearl Jam promised more than just that. I hope to see Daughter, Last Kiss, and a few others, but Ten covered most of the PJ songs I liked. Also, drummer for Third Eye Blind stated in an interview that they had just re-recorded 6 "greatest hits" with Harmonix for "their game". Looks like Third Eye Blind is coming to Rock Band, as well. Just ensure "10 Days Late" is one of them, and I'll get it. Beyond that, I never really was too into Third Eye Blind

Going to have Rock Band 1 and 2 by the end of this month. Can't wait to join you guys.
Also getting a AC/DC trackpack disc. How does that work? Do you have to import the songs from the disk or is it something different?

Do you have to import the songs from the disk or is it something different? Both. By that, I mean it is its own standalone disc, but the songs can be transferred to Rock Band 1 and 2. Yeah, all you need is to download the 20 free songs that come with Rock Band 2 (on the back of the book), and get a ton of songs that I have. I have over 110 downloaded songs.

With each week we go on, through all of the countless DLC, and still we end up with no Primus. They're a popular band, they were in GH2, they'd be really fun on all the instruments... so why, Harmonix?
