Not racist. I wonder if African-Americans complained about it or if some bright sparks have gone out and said that they should be offended by it.

I love how they use the term "African American" Its an Aussie Ad. Guess what, they are not African American. Gotta love stupid people, they make us feel smarter. ;D The video has nothing to do with Africans or Americans, it's about West Indian cricket fans, y'know the team who had Brian Lara?

I think it doesn't read as him being a fan of an opposing team since he's the only one clearly wearing a jersey (There's a flash of some people in the background who appear to be wearing a different team but it's pretty quick)
the majority of the people in front of him are just wearing normal clothes so I wouldn't automatically assume they were rooting for different teams.
Although if this is part of a series of commercials where we're supposed to already know this guy and what it's about I guess it's a moot point.

I'm assuming this is the same group of people that complain about a lack of black characters in 16th century period dramas? (Don't laugh, it happens).

Not racist but as Sam said, they should've known there would be a backlash.
I wish us white people had a stereotype about fried chicken...can we trade? ;D

I looked at it and saw a fan from one team...sitting amongst the fans of the opposing team, and feeling embarrassed as his team seems to be getting demolished. Exasperated, he starts offering his bucket o' chicken to the fans around him. I think this is the idea of the ad. What made it racist? Because the fans were black? The team is from a predominantly black country.Because the black fans were loud and rowdy? They were watching a sports game.Because the black fans ate fried chicken? The ad is for fried chicken, they want to get across the fact that people like their product!I'm all for calling out racism in the media, but this isn't racism. Either there's some sort of "lost in translation" thing going on, or these presenters are missing the point of the ad and digging too deep for controversy. I've seen this show before on youtube with a different male presenter who actually brings up good points (usually) and at least argues his side with valid points (I think these two kind of bypass what they see and try to make something out of nothing). Usually the male presenter brings up good points that the woman agrees with; here with her in the drivers seat things don't end up very good.

Watching that video it was kind of the feeling I would experience if stuck at White Hart Lane in the Spurs section wearing my Arsenal shirt. Ie Uncomfortable. The people who think this is racist clearly know nothing about sports.

.....I have no idea how that can be construed as racist. People are just hunting for things to ban and cry about now.
