Some Silent Hill greatness, one song from each main game of the series... (and one from SH: Shattered Memories, because the song kicks ass)
(it's actually "Room of Angel")

Nah, I don't like JRPGs or anything. I dunno what you're talking about.

By far Snoop Dog
Greatest thing Snoop Dog ever did and you gotta love NFS Underground 2. After NFSU2 no racing game ever felt like it...ever since

Actraiser. The Music was one of the reasons why the SNES was the greatest system ever.

Hell, you could pick anything from Phantasy Star II and end up with a winner.

And now for some more JRPG music...
The final battle theme from Persona 3. Nothing short of epic.
(on a related note... GAH! WHERE IS MY JAPANESE COPY OF P3P, I ORDERED IT A MONTH AGO?!)
The final battle theme from Persona 4. Once again, nothing short of epic.
The final battle theme from Digital Devil Saga 2. Again, epic.
One of my favorite boss battle themes of all time, it perfectly conveys the "Oh crap, NOW we are f***ed!" feeling you get when you realize you actually have to fight Dante. Yes, the one from Devil May Cry.

Also, the Smash Brothers soundtracks go without saying.

Einhander is my top pick with the German dialouge kept in for an added bonus but without it its still good.

Hell, you could pick anything from Phantasy Star II and end up with a winner. Dude, another Phantasy Star fan? My personal favorite was PSIV. I've always loved Rune's badass theme. ;D This game had great music in general, though.

*Insert pretty much any Final Fantasy or Sonic boss theme*
Don't judge me for this one:

The music from the first Quake game. Done by Trent Rezner. So basically Nine Inch Nails composed the soundtrack: Also note: If you still have the CD-Rom to the PC version of the game you can put it in any CD player and it will play like a regular audio CD from the second track (The first track is the game itself, thus it won't play )
