Link Here: sports.espn.go.com/videogames/news/story?id=4795625In a nutshell, EA will be making a new NBA Jam game which will be released exclusively for the Wii. I'm kind of excited but a little skeptical at the same time. I mean, why the Wii of all systems? Wouldn't it make more sense to put it on the HD systems? Then again, I suppose NBA Jam was one of those pick up and play "casual" sports games so it makes some sense. Thoughts?

I was hoping for either a Mutant League game or Road Rash. NBA Jam is a fun game and all, but it's not fun enough for me to desire as much as Mutant League or Road Rash...

Hope it's not as bad as the recent Tecmo B ball game for the 360.

HE'S ON FIRE!
Hopefully it's better than the 2004 NBA Jam.

As long as they don't gimmick it up with Wii controls, I'd be all for it.
Is it the shoes?

The original NBA Jam gave the late, great Wayman Tisdale and Reggie Lewis some very deserved props. This won't be the same

I saw this earlier, I'm excited. Plus, being made a Wii exclusive I could see them actually putting some work into the motion controls and making them pretty sweet

I loved NBA Jam but I would not want EA making a remake. I'd feel like they wouldn't get the right vibe for the series. Plus, the game isn't a real NBA Jam until they use Tim Kitzrow's voice.

Interesting.
Although, after the Madden and NHL Arcade games, I'm surprised it wasn't just a downloadable game for the 360 and PS3.

My girlfriend has a Wii, so maybe I can con her into downloading this one. Who knows, she may even want to play it herself. ;D CAN'T BUY A BUCKET! REJECTED! IT'S GOOD! Everyone else already took the good ones.
