Or in my case my grad school essay. Just got finished with my latest one. For this one I had to talk about all journalism stuff so I mentioned balloon boy, Upton Sinclair and Morgan Spurlock.
Also, FYI I just looked at my spelling of Spurlock then I thought I spelled in wrong in the application. However, I looked back at my essay and I spelled it right after all! Yeah, still a bit high strung. Anyways hopefully I get in!

I just sent in an application to Duke Divinity, and ended up writing a blurb about the importance of the Eucharist in Church life. Sadly I only had one page to do it in. Double spaced. DAMN YOU DUKE DIVINITY!

My essay was about the NFL Network's conflict with Time Warner Cable. I write what I know.

in my film class i had a really good grade already so i didnt worry about my essay...so i spent it drinking with my friend eric coming up with stupid jokes and one liners about how michael keaton is the real batman which ended with "when asked, Oprah said 'you bet your sweet ass michael keaton is batman!" and i guess my teacher liked a good sense of humor as i wound up getting a B+ while my friend ray who actually tried on his and used film making lingo got a C -....ray wound up wiping his ass with my paper when i showed it to him...

Potential PhD project: a 400 page (at least) investigation into the entire filmography of Jean-Luc Godard, how his films are sites of doing philosophy, if not philosophy itself, and how film-as-philosophy offers a new way for people to form their identity (following the writings of Gilles Deleuze). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean-Luc_Godard and en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gilles_DeleuzeI was shown one of his films during my time in Media Studies. I remember the film being called "Masculin, féminin" Quite an easy title to remember.
