I am a fan of iCarly (as I know several others here are as well), but sheesh they are now promoting the third iCarly special in three months after iThink They Kissed and iQuit iCarly. Now we are getting iSaved Your Life (or something of that ilk) where Freddie pushes Carly out of the way of a moving vehicle and gets hit himself.
I love the show, but sheesh I could go for a regular run of the mill episode

That's what Nick does though, they have a new episode to pump out so they tout it as a "special." That way they can air as many episodes during the week as they want without any semblance of a schedule because they tell you the next new episode is a few weeks away, everything up to that point is re-runs.

Why couldn't they put this much support behind their old good and in my opinion better shows like Salute Your Shorts and Hey Dude?

That's my only iCarly frustration is the lack of new episodes. Seems like I've seen every single one ten times.

Then she gives birth...to herself. Then she cheats on herself...with herself. This episode Carly is played by Candice Michelle.

ICarly's a funny show, but sometimes I think Nick ought to just officially declare it an hour-long format.

iCarly wont last much longer. It's entering Drake and Josh territory where the secondary characters are getting more interesting. I'd expect who ever plays Sam and whoever plays Spencer to get shows by the end of the year.

It's been pretty much been about Sam and Spencer to me.

My only questions is why the hell does Gibby always not wear a shirt? It's his gimmick.

ICarly's a funny show, but sometimes I think Nick ought to just officially declare it an hour-long format. This. Also, E-Man, iThink They Kissed wasn't like the othe specials, in that it was only a half-hour show. On that regard, we've got a new half-hour episode coming up this Saturday. And one more thing - I was watching Law and Order: SVU today, and who do I see but Jennette McCurdy (Sam). The episode was released in 2005, and the younger McCurdy played a victim in a child molestation/murder case - and did a pretty damn good job, I must say.

^^ I watched an episode of Angel the other morning and the older brother was playing the part of a guy in a comic book store. Pretty good stuff.

I guess you may of remembered that, too. It sounds like an interesting episode idea, especially because of the lingering "Just why was Carly so upset about the kiss, anyway?" questions.

I couldn't remember who made the comparison, but it was a good one.
