Colin Baker just happened to be a victim of everyone in charge at the time not knowing what the hell they were doing. That and having scripts to work with a no actor could have salvaged. I didn't mind Colin Baker's portrayal of The Doctor. But you're right, they did have some crappy scripts. Hell, they still have some crappy scripts, but it's the actors that make them work. How much goofy stuff did Tom Baker have to deal with? Hell, how much goofy stuff did they all have to deal with? Not even Tom Baker could make his crap episodes work It's just a shame some of Colin Baker's were downright putrid as opposed to goofy. He didn't have any Classics to fall back on like the others, His "Good" episodes were just that...."good" that's all. Plus behind the scenes Dr Who was in a state of Chaos

For anyone interested, here's a preview of the new series in the Spring....
Cool to see the Weeping Angel's returning, and it look's like 'Geronimo' is shaping up to be a catchphrase.

Does that mean we're gonna get a "Geronimo, Jeremiah" joke at some point?

An enjoyable end to a great series with Tennant. Here's hoping Smith follows in the same fun entertaining footsteps.
Oh and anything featuring weeping angels should be fun.

I sick of the Daleks but I hope they're not at Cena levels of Overpoweredness, Doomsday was pathetic.

Not really a Dr Who fan, though I have enjoyed it at times. Really enjoyed Tennant's last episode though. Thought it was a fitting end.

Dude, this episode was f***ing awesome. I eld my breath when he was saying his sort-of-goodbye to Rose at the end.
And did anyone else start tearing up when he said "I don't want to go"?

Ex Ter Mi Nate!!!! ;D One place I used to work at, people would get me pissed off at certain points, so I would do my impersonation of Davros and and get strange looks when I'd be screaming out "EXTERMINATE!!!!! EXTERMINATE!!!!! EXTERMINATE!!!!"

Always thought funny how the Doctor, with many many many options to which to regenerate his body is always white, British, and male. On the other hand, a black Doctor would be rather awesome with the right guy. Maybe Chiwetel Ejiofor?

I sick of the Daleks but I hope they're not at Cena levels of Overpoweredness, Doomsday was pathetic. From what I hear, like most of the fans, Moffat wanted to rest the Daleks. But with everything changing the BBC wanted a familiar element so as not to alienate viewers. Hence why he faces them early on, in what I think is the third episode. But Moffat has put a twist on them. Apparently these Daleks are being "trained" by Churchill to act as weapons for the allies in WWII or something.

My thoughts can be summed up very concisely.
I will most definitely miss Tennant, good riddance to Davies, and welcome Moffat.
Each Davies episode has been worse than the last since day one. Meanwhile, Moffat, while under less pressure, has delivered some of my favorite episodes consistently.
