Funny but I think most WCers actually prefer the Graves era. This may not hold true elsewhere on the internets, but here we pretty much all are fans of that version of The Misfits.

So was Glenn actually there or were they just playing songs of the Danzig variety? I'm confused.
When it comes to Misfits line-ups I'm partial to the Danzig era. Outside of Saturday Night and Helena the Graves era doesn't have much else going for them. I'm more a fan of the singer himself than that particular line-up.

the new singer of Georgous Frankenstein is Alex Story from the band Cancerslug...they played 3 new songs, and dedicated one to jerry and dez....Georgous George got the crowd to chant Michale Graves before he came out. and yea they did Helena, Lost in Space, Scarecrow Man and finally Shining. but according to mike they were going to do about 4 more songs including dig up her bones and saturday night but they were cut short.

In my eyes if Danzig's not on the mic, it ain't the Misfits. I try not to be a 'music snob' about it though. The music from the Graves era just did nothing for me. But it's kind of cool to see so many fans of that lineup in one place.

That guy just earned some points in my book.

I appreciate that that was the start of everything, but after a while a lot of Danzig era stuff runs together for me. Not to say that it doesn't have it's fair amount of great songs though.

Gorgeous Frankenstein’s new singer looks a lot like Samhain era Glenn. Like a lot. Ghoolsby was on bass. GF dedicated one of the new songs to Jerry and Dez the chorus went ‘This is the land of the Dead’ that is all thats out there about the song right now. *EDIT* heres two vid's from the Graves reuinion part..*slight language*

I suppose I'm in the minority of people who likes the Danzig era as much as the Graves time in the group. Everyone seems to prefer either just Danzig or just Graves.
I like both equally, at least depending upon what kinda mood I'm in at the time I throw in some cd's.

I'm with the Danzig crowd. Without Danzig they aren't even worth listening to.

Huh, that was an interesting tune. Not usually a metal guy but they have an interesting sound. I may have to explore some of their stuff thanks to you Mr. Braxton. Did you just call the misfits metal?
