-Power Instinct & Power Instinct 2 : Games from the earlier days of fighting, actually quite a bit of fun and had more to them than most other imitators at the time (I was especially impressed when I learned that you could crouch to cancel out of a forward hop early) But it wasn't SF, and it wasn't MK, so nobody cared. THIS. The Power Instinct series was awesome. 1 and 2 were great but to me the best one was Groove on Fight, without question one of the most kick-ass fighting games out their this side of 3rd Strike. Also the P.I. series artist Range Murata f-ing rules.

I really liked Spider for PSone. I thought it was an interesting, different platformer.

-Silent Bomber. Not just a Bomberman clone, but a darker single player game that involves more platforming skills (to an extent) and faster action. You already know I feel this way about Silent Bomber...but seriously, I agree SO hard. It's honestly one of my favourite PS1 games. I love the atmosphere and the gameplay is just great.

Four words:
MYSTICAL NINJA: STARRING GOEMON.
I love it so much, I can't help it. I wish I had an N64 right now! So I could play and play!
I also liked the sequel for the 64, Goemon's Great Adventure. But nothing beats MN:SG
I also love Suikoden I and Final Fantasy IX. I LOVE FF9. I really do, I can play and play.
Ahh, nostalgia.

Aside from Suikoden, which is the only entry in the main series I haven't played, f*** YES. Seriously. Especially Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon. That game seriously deserves far more of a following than it received. It was one of the staples of my N64 library. Just so f***ing weird and fun.

Tomba. When I first got my PS1, a demo for this game was included on some multi-demo disk. It took me a long-ass time to ever see a copy(to be fair I wasn't really looking that hard ever, and this was still a year before I even had dial-up internet). Saw it at some used shop for I think a dollar or two.

Something that would have made me ecstatic but never happened was the sequel to Puggsy. I guess the appreciation it had for it wasn't enough.

Shatterhand! for the NES. Like Megaman except you punch things Love that game. Sadly, my NES is dead Very addicting sports game. I love this game!!! It's a perfect example how how sometimes simpler is better. This is the best tennis game I've every played... and one of the most fun SPORTS games.

Vib Ribbon It was a japanese game for the Playstation where a rabbit would walk along a line to a song. And when you reached certain parts there would be a shape which would require you to tap a button which would make the rabbit dance along the shape. Sortof like Dance Dance Revolution or Parappa the Rapper style of gameplay. But what made this game really cool was you could put in your own cd's and play vib ribbon to your favourite soundtracks. Here is an example with System of a Downs "Zelda theme" This actually got a fair bit of popularity here in Europe, since McDonalds had a "free PSX demo disc with every 'big bag' meal" and I recall this popping up on at least two different discs during the span of the promotion - eventually leading me to get the full version. It's a great little game with a nice soundtrack, and on top of that I have great memories of going through my mother's CD collection and trying out some ABBA stages. It really is a shame this never advanced to anything more besides a weird trampoline jumping almost-sequel for the PS2 - but it was a very neat experience for its time. Since I'm already on the topic of its makers, NanaOn-sha; Um Jammer Lammy seemed to get a pretty bad deal when it come to promotion and people actually knowing it exists. It didn't have the benefit of being released early in its console's lifespan like both Parappa games; but nevertheless I always found it to be the best of the three. It's easily the weirdest and it may just step over that comfort line for some, but I can honestly say I can remember every song from it; helped both by the catchy-ness and how pants-on-head ridiculous the concepts were. With the internet and the Playstation store now in full swing it's a lot easier to get acquainted, but even when it was released ten years ago I couldn't find the damn thing anywhere. Robotron 64 is another game that I've barely seen mentioned anywhere. It could get me hooked for days at a time with its huge amount of levels and simple concept that always got a lot harder as it went. Plus it contained so many levels each with its own title that the developers got so spent coming up with names they just started using random Randy Savage quotes towards the end. Fun stuff.

Treasures of the Deep for Playstation. It's not a perfect game, but it's simply a fun little adventure, with a great premise. I think they had something with the concept of undersea diving adventure games, and I wish it could've caught on more. I just got it for Christmas, and still enjoy it and think it has a good, tense atmosphere.
Grim Fandango. A hidden masterpiece. 'Nuff said.
