Finally, now there's time.
That's all I'm going to say about the episode that's on right now.

Say what you will about those at SyFy, but as long as they still do this marathon, I'll watch. It's the only time I do. Unless they rerun Friday the 13th: The Series, Tales from the Darksideor the original Kolchak, the Night Stalker. You should get the Chiller channel they run the Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm, and Dark Shadows religiously.

Ya know, this episode that's on right now is probably the most restrained I've ever seen Shatner.

Ya know, this episode that's on right now is probably the most restrained I've ever seen Shatner. How awesome would it have been if they made "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" the sequel to "Nick of Time"? The Mystic Seer could have been the reason for his nervous breakdown.

Its far superior to 20,000 feet(which is a good one in its own right for sure), but gets hardly the recognition. Its probably in my top 5 favs

Well, had fun with it. Watched everything I could be awake to see, and enjoyed the vast majority of it. Might have to make a tradition of this.

Re: Shatner: Shatner was playing Captain Kirk as a Shakespearian Role, which is why he put so much drama into the character. In these roles, he was just playing a guy.

And ya know, I doubt that we would have the awesomeness that is Star Trek (the movies, the tv shows, etc.) if it wasn't for his overdramatic acting as Captain Kirk. Maybe not, but that character had to be played that cocky, in my opinion.

Yeah, know a lot of the camp with Kirk was on purpose. Still, even in other roles Shatner's always seemed to have a certain ham factor to him (including in 20,000 Feet), while this one was a lot more understated for the most part. It wasn't until I got a good look at his face that I could tell it was Shatner.
