Marked out all over the Vince/Shawn segment. It feels weird. Maybe it's because I'm 31. Maybe it's because RAW hasnt provided a real mark out moment in ages.
The Bret Hart thing is so epic. I never thought it would happen. And I will be there live next week. I can't believe it. I feel like I am a teenager again, getting excited for a wrestling moment.
I have had wrestling on in the background as a habit. I am usually not particularly into what's going on. Maybe a cool moment by Kofi or Jeff Hardy.... a reunion of Money Inc or the Rockers....
Is it the WWE or is it me? Why is it so odd to mark again? I used to all the time during the Monday Night Wars.

It's the WWE.
I'm 21 and I felt the same. Watching the Vince/Shawn segment really made me feel like a fan again.

Maybe now people will understand why some of us switched to ROH in the past five years. If you're not marking out over what you're watching in wrestling, then it doesn't really pay to watch it, in my opinion.

Which is why instead I chose to go watch Sherlock Holmes instead, as the past couple attempts of tuning into WWE programming have been brutal to me. As far as the movie goes, I quite enjoyed it. From the reports, seemed like this was a decent ep. though, so glad people seemed to dig it and mark out accordingly.

Dude, you've got that reversed. If anything, Hall would be the one guy to knock Punk OFF the wagon.

I can go back and watch pro wrestling on Raw from 1996 or ECW from 1999, and I still love it. Even old matches from the 80's in NWA. I watch ROH and try to catch any other wrestling if I can, because I still love the industry of pro wrestling. I just hate the currently monopolized brand of wrestling in the U.S.A.

Um, didn't TNA do something like this before, only to have it blow up in their faces in a rather epic fashion? Did they really do this again?

I liked the promo and thought RAW was better than it has been in a little while. It still wasn't great but I think they are headed in a better direction. There wasn't anything I really hated except Cena losing by disqualification which means another PPV match between him and Sheamus.
Some things I liked DX and Hornswoggle(seeing HHH tape Hornswoggle up to a skateboard was just stupidly hilarious LOL)
Vince/HBK promo. It was pretty cool although it did seem a bit dated.
Legacy teasing break up. Orton looked really good tonight. I'm really starting to dig his Viper gimmick.
Big Show and Jericho break up. I couldn't believe what I was watching and thought it was stupid but I just couldn't stop laughing and thinking it was great at the same time. lol
Also I loved that they used Chavo as Big Show's partner. It looks like they will finally use Chavo in a more serious role which I would love. I have always felt Chavo has been held down for way way too long. After Los Guerroros I thought he would go on to the main event considering how good in the ring he is. I didn't expect him to become a jobber.

I'd like it well enough, too, but you took the wrong message from the segment. That he chose Chavo itself was a joke. Rest assured, he'll be back to stupid skits in the near-future.

It felt like an entire wrestlecrap-worthy installment of RAW:
DX/Hornswaggle antics, rehashed Jericho gimmick from WCW combined with awkward man-love, Chavo losing to Hornswaggle #145, HBK/Vince/Bret nostalgia pop.
The only thing remotely fresh, but nonsensical was the Legacy angle. I guess its GUT CHECK TIME for the nWo, er, I mean RKO - legacy. Whatever.
At least Ted & Cody got some solo ring time.

I am going to the Jan 4th Raw. And I went to the craft store and bought pink shirts for my entire crew....and pink and black poster board. Haven't done that for a wwe event in YEARS!!!
Its geeky to me but its BRET HART.

I would have been there next Monday but then my friends decided to spend the money on World of Warcraft money rather than our tickets and ruined my day.

Indeed, it is strange to mark again isn't it? I just hope the E doesn't blow the return of Bret Hart Storyline. I know such a thing would be hard, but this is the E we are talking about after all Invasion anyone. That said, I can't wait for a Hitman/HBK 'you ruined my life, but I've changed so please forgive me' on air confrontation.
