Monday Night Raw is coming to my town, and for the first time ever, I have no interest in going.

you should look into it, even the worst shows are enjoyable live, I know, I went to the smackdown where Melina sued Batista for sexual harassment

There was a couple of shows in my area a couple of months ago. I had no clue until the day after, but they were a Raw taping and a Raw house show the day or two before.

I don't want to go make broad assumptions, but, I'm pretty sure everyone has felt like this at least once.
Then you end up going. And you know what happens? You have a good time.

Even if you bought tickets not wanting to go, the months/weeks/days leading up to it you weren't looking forward to it, you would still have tonnes of fun once you were there.

When they made the RAW house show in Santiago, i wasn't too interesed to go (besides because almost all my favourites wrestlers were in SD! and Santino weren't on a match), but i went with my brother and it was quite fun house show to say the least (I still remember JBL singing USA's anthem and suddenly all the stadium started to sing our anthem).
So you should go, even for curiosity. You might enjoy the show anyway.

Monday Night Raw is coming to my town, and for the first time ever, I have no interest in going. Yeah, I know how you feel. They had RAW here a few weeks back and, people were offering me tickets but, I just had no desire to go. I sat at home that night watching and, just didn't care.

You should go. You never now what's going to happen. I skipped both Raw and SD! shows in Lima because I couldn't afford the tickets, but from what I heard both were awesome events. I will forever regret not being there the night Chris Jericho made a promo in spanish and talked about how HBK is a coward we were "bad people".

I am in the exact same position as the OP! In a few weeks, Raw is going to be broadcasted from my home time. I used to get tickets to every single event; however, I just can not risk having a horrible guest host. Sure, I could get a Jesse Ventura, but it is much more likely that I'd get a ZZ Top or a Piven. Getting tickets to an episode of Raw now is like purchasing a mystery box. It could be good, but it has more of a chance of being bad.

I've skipped the last few Raws that were in my town, but I attended Survivor Series. I'd say to the OP to save your WWE money for a major show and not an event you can watch on cable. At least with the pay-per-view there's no risk of a bad guest host.

Back in late 2001 my brother and I went to a terrible house show main evented by RVD and Test. Most of the matches sucked but it was still a lot of fun.

From what I've heard, the wrestlers usually give more of themselves in house shows rather than televised shows. Also, JBL really knew how to make the crowd hate him. I miss that fat bastard

Wow, I'd love for even a house show to come within 100 miles or so of here....
