But what he meant was that he hasn't cared about a tag title match since Wrestlemania 17.
By the way, Billy & Chuck won at 18, Booker & RVD and Rikishi & Scotty 2 Hotty won at 20, and I think it was Kane & Big Show at 22. Somehow, those tag teams weren't even relevant then.

I wonder if Jericho is himself bothered by this?
As a wrestling fan you shouldn't know the result of the match in advance every single time 2 people face off and yet with Jericho and Triple H you just know Triple H will win. Usually after a promo in which he mocks Jericho.
The only way that is acceptable is if it plays a big part in the story. Raven and Tommy Dreamer was amongst other things how Tommy could never beat Raven same with Rey Mysterio and Eddie.
With Triple H and Jericho it is not part of the feud or anything. It just has happened for getting on for 10 years. I mean even the times Jericho was able to become World Champion happened when Triple H was either injured or on a different show.
I wonder if Jericho himself is bothered by it? I reckon he isn't that too bothered by it seeing as though he has never said anything but you have to assume at the very least he doesn't relish having to feud with Triple H.

Jericho loves losing and having his character look ridiculous. Him being dragged off of things crying and screaming is always his idea.
I doubt he cares.

I'm pretty much betting on Hornswoggle to cost them the match and side with Jericho and Show Ooooooooh, my hopes for a heel Hornswoggle come alive again! Plus, maybe we can see a Tadpole Splash off of Show's shoulders.

I actually have a theory that Jericho and HHH are actually in cahoots and have been friends for years and this is all just their plan to make the IWC look like idiots.
Ok I'm probably wrong but as Liquid Stryk-Dizzle said Jericho likes his character getting embarrassed so it's probably just that.

Or maybe its happened so many times he just thinks (Like most people in there jobs) sod it I dont care anymore and does the job (literally) and collects his paycheck and goes home.

Perhaps but did anyone care about the tag title matches at WM 18, 20, or 22?

Not to mention the fact that when the company itself mocks/acknowledges it on TV, it's a kick in the balls to kayfabe/suspension of disbelief.

I think we are looking too far into a single phrase even if there is no chance Jerishow wins

I want to be optimistic and think they'll put the belts back on a team that will actually do something with them. I really do, and I want to believe this was just a three week thing to do something new with the belts while waiting on the next program, but ... it's Triple H. And it's Jericho. It's Triple H and Jericho. Pedigree, 1-2-3, and HHH FINALLY upends that thorn in his side Jericho after all these yea....oh, oh wait. except tag team matches are where Jericho normally gives Hunter the most trouble.

I bet Jericho wishes Booker T came back to the WWE at least back then when being Hunters job bitch they could share the load between them now the poor guy does it all by himself. At least Kane is still around.

Personally I'd love for it to go down the following.
HHH and HBK retain, Bret then announces new challangers, the Hart Dynasty who come out and win the belts then and there. DX look somewhat strong as they have had two consecutive matches. The Dynasty can then be a tag team that the company can try and rebuild a division round if they so wish, without the use of main eventers and Jeri-Show can go on to seperate things. Plus, with the rumble coming up it gives potential for all four men to have key roles in it.
Will any of this happen, probably not. But no harm in thinking it.

Trips and Jericho need to end this all with a big hair vs. hair match. Then Jericho can shave his head prior to the show just to save us all some time.
