WWE is NOT mocking Mickie's Weight Then explain to me why they would team her with Tommy Dreamer of all people to sign autographs at a Pizza Parlor when they know full well there's a angle going on with Michelle and Layla mocking her weight? ... This is the first time I've seen a Pizza Parlor being promoted as a place to meet wrestlers in the WWE.com appearance section in the 3 years I've looked at that section. WWE had a promotion with Domino's Pizza last year, and Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, Teddy Long, & Jack Swagger signed autographs for it. Here's a video (go to about the 1:00 mark).

On this board called Wrestlecrap, you put up a thread about your vote for best match of the year, and it goes on for maybe two, three pages...four if there's some vigorous competition. On this same board called Wrestlecrap, you put up a thread from a long-discredited "news" site - which still employs a known and proven liar - that suggests (without an iota of proof) that there is some sinister conspiracy to humiliate and exile a popular female professional wrestler based on her appearance and career contemplation, and it Won't Smurfing End. If it's Punk or Mickie, everyone has to make a big stink about it, which is what has turned me off of the both of them.

Mickie discussion, on the other hand, is a virtual nightmare.

Mickie discussion, on the other hand, is a virtual nightmare. Sure, not so much now, but back when he came in, if someone so much as sneezed in his general direction, there was complaints and people wishing he would leave before he was berried. I remember when Punk lost his first match Holly, and the anger and predictions of the end that ensued.

I remember when Punk lost his first match Holly, and the anger and predictions of the end that ensued. I guess its because people are comfortable now with Punk as upper midcarder/semi-ME in a Jericho-like slot. I do remember the "Can Punk Draw" continuing pretty much until he turned heel and beat Jeff Hardy decisively for the title.

I swear to god Mickie needs her own forum. She's hitting Final Fantasy 7 status for me, where I initially was ok with it, but the fan base is so rabid, and at times flat out ANNOYING that you resent it based on that. Mickie is a decent looking gal, who is decent in the ring. With some people, you'd swear she was a super model that could wrestle like Kurt Angle.

I get the feeling Vince is sitting at a computer laughing because of the rumor he put out online.

Noticed that too when I first came to this forum. Someone should write a thesis on it or something. The really sad thing is, it applies to other wrestling related sites too! I don't remember Spoony or that guy who writes for the Baltimore Sun even mentioning the Divas in their wrestling-related stuff. Its like this board is trapped in some sort of 1999 time distortion where Divas are still considered "big names" somehow. The last of the genuinely over Divas was Trish--when she left, the mainstream audience really stopped caring about women's wrestling in WWE.

So because they stopped caring we cant care? You can do whatever you want, but its hard not to think of this board as some sort of absurdist comedy when something that barely gets mentioned elsewhere gets more threads/flames than Little People's Court here. WC doesn't represent the interests of the typical fan, or even the typical "smark" fan, anymore.

When Mickie does eventually leave, I'll be paying close attention to her send-off. That should tell us whether this trend of stories are NEWZ or accurate. Any woman that's not Trish either gets a horrible send-off or hardly a send-off at all.

Its at insane levels.

I'm reminded of the Molly Holly case where they made fun of her ass and religious beliefs regarding virginity on her way out. And it did wonders for the storyline. And her career. And made her feel great about herself. And her career choice.
Yep. /sarcasm
