Are Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie really that popular with kids? I thought they were artists that people more my age (late 20's) listen to, or listened to as teens.
Maybe he got the short end of the stick, maybe not. I agree that WWE has a bad case of wanting cookie cutter wrestlers these days, but instead of released wrestlers being bitter, why not go work for TNA or ROH? If they're good enough, one or the other is sure to see something in them. Maybe they could even go to Japan. If not, maybe they're just not good enough and should see if their local Target is hiring.

I watched his promos on Youtube and wonderd why he was a face. He was kind of creepy. Kind of really creepy.
One point he made which was good is about the whole Rob Zombie/Marilyn Manson/Hot Topic thing in how the WWE really doesn't go for alternative characters. First Raven ditched all of his Raveness in a last ditch attempt to get a push and then they defanged Kevin Thorn.

Kizarny's first match sucked, maybe he's a great wrestler but he certainly didn't show it against MVP. To be fair, Kofi Kingston's first match had several botches in it, and he's nigh on a main eventer now. Ricky Ortiz had a shocking first match, and they kept him around for almost a year. If everyone got canned cos of an unspectacular first match, it'd be ridiculous.

Ha, Kizarny. I always thought that gimmick was failure from the moment I saw the vignettes and heard him talk.

Here's The Sun version: www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/wrestling/2786071/There-is-so-much-backstabbing.htmlA FORMER WWE wrestling star has launched a stinging attack on the company's stars, claiming there is backstabbing within the organisation. Nick Cvjetkovich wrestled under the name Kizarny — but didn't have much success in the federation and was let go in March. He says he loved many aspects about working there, but couldn't stand the backstage politics. Speaking about his experience for the first time, he told the wrestling101 website: " Working with WWE was awesome and awful all at once. "Being there was realizing my childhood dream and for that I will always be grateful to Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis. "Getting to perform in front of so many excited fans at Smackdown and on the live events is an indescribable high! "The glitz of Smackdown TV was awesome and made me felt like I was a rockstar but wrestling at the live events was more me because my producers would let me be me and the fans got everything I had! "I was so flattered to come back through the curtains one night to be greeted by Ricky Steamboat imitating me and laughing about how entertained he was! "I was so flattered that I had amused a legend that I looked up to since I was a wee lil circus run-a-way! "Working at WWE was also awful because there is so much politics and backstabbing you never know who your enemies are because they are all gutlessly and unaccountably hiding in the shadows!" WWE would not comment on this story, however wrestlers currently working for the company have always praised the locker room atmosphere when speaking to The Sun.

I kinda see where he is going. I think the writer are more to blame then the worker in some occasion. The road agents might back you up, but sometime they can't convice the writers.

I saw him at an indy show not too long ago. He sucked there too. I guess it's still the WWE writers, eh?

If you succeed in WWE, it's a warm friendly environment where the other wrestlers are willing to help you out, the agents will help you go over your matches in detail, and your bosses will give you career advice and guidlines.
Meanwhile, if you fail, it's always due to a terrible environment where other coworkers are out to get out, will steal your job, and want to see you do nothing but fail so that they can keep making money with the same type of people and storylines.

He's not being very specific, but I suppose that wouldn't be a good idea. I always thought Kizarny just came in at the wrong time what with the PG change in full swing with everyone in production figuring out what works and what doesn't - and yeah he didn't get a fair first chance; but a lot of people don't. K-Kwik didn't exactly set the world on fire, but R-Truth is doing a lot better these days (even without any drastic gimmick changes)
He'd be better off waiting a few years to see if he can get another go when the company's ready for him, no point burning bridges.

Time Warner Cable sucks. How many times do they have to try this type of thing and have it backfire against them before they realize it won't work? Ultimately, all they are doing is ceding over more ground to Comcast. Yeah, total dick move on their part to not raise their customers bills at the demand of Fox. Yeah, I need to stop posting late at night. I totally misread that article. What the hell is Fox thinking?

-- There is a cable war going on between Fox and Time Warner Cable which has Fox demanding that Time Warner pay one dollar per month per customer in order to continue receiving their family of networks including Fox, FX and MyNetworkTV. Time Warner has refused their proposal and they are threatening to pull all Fox stations off the air this Friday. Hence, Time Warner Cable subscribers would be unable to watch Friday Night SmackDown. Fox has taken out ads in several markets saying that Time Warner is trying to deprive its customers of shows such as House and American Idol. SmackDown is listed in several ads, including a few spots with WWE talent addressing the possible loss of the program. (source: http://www.f4wonline.com) Yeah Fox, because that will work well for you. Actually, this is a good move becuase of American Idol. TimeWraner is on the hot seat becuase they will face their subscribers wrath if Fox pulls the nmetwork and there is no American Idol.

This kind of stuff happens every year with networks and cable providers. Fox doesn't really want an extra dollar per subscriber. They just want to capitalize on their popularity by making a little more. They're just negotiating, and they'll have it done by Friday.

Kizarny's character was doomed from the start, since the layout of a good "carnival freak" character cannot be accomplished well in a PG-rated show. Plus, it was in the middle of MVP's losing streak, and people didn't like the fact that this joker just shows up, does about 15 different ring entrance moments before the match, and easily beats the poor guy (this started the face turn as the crowd started giving him sympathy for what's going on).
Well, at least he was given screen-time, unlike Ryan Braddock, Scotty Goldman (was that Colt Cabana?), or Kenny Dykstra, who's probably still in that moving truck.

Has anyone got the New York area commercial? Yeah, I think I saw a glimpse of it today (even though I'm Verizon.) Didn't really see what it said though.

The WWE already had a circus freak: Jeff Hardy That's why Kizarny never had a chance.
