My kingdom for a bowl of Golden Grahams or Cocoa Krispies!
I used to eat Frosted Flakes the most. I used to eat Wheaties with honey on top. Or Rice Krispies/Cheerios with a spoonful of sugar. Now, if you want the same taste without adding sugar, just buy the Rice Krispies Treats cereal.
The Indiana Jones cereal was pretty good also. Tasted better than Reese's Puffs cause of the vanilla bits.

I have had every cereal in that list except the Hannah Montana one. I'm almost afraid that if the store sees an older guy in a trenchcoat buying that cereal, they're gonna call Chris Hansen on me. ;D

What are your favorite cereals both from the past and present? One of my favorites was S'Mores Crunch: It's been discontinued for years of course. That is exactly what I was thinking before I opened this thread. Man that cereal was so awesome the reintroduced at some point and it was like the gods had smiled, then they dropped it again. There is a new Smorz cereal (its super-cool cause they pluralize with a z) that just sucks.

Honey comb and Captain Crunch. With all that sugar I used to eat, I'm surprised my teeth are in such good shape.

pretty much all of them as a kid, from flakes to raisin bran to cookie crisps. These days I will still buy an occasional box of Peanut Butter Crunch to snack on, but that's about it.

This thread makes me remember the only thing I didn't like about the US when I was there for three months in 2006-the bloody breakfast cereals. Seriously, how much sugar do you guys need in those bloody things! I couldn't eat the damn things-the milk turned freaking yellow from all that sugar!

Says the lady from the country with NOTORIOUSLY poor dental hygeine. ;D But you're dead on...those things are HORRID on young teeth, and dentists abhor them all, as do nutritionists, with TIME magazine recently doing an article where it was pointed out that Cinnamon Toast Crunch had WAAAY too much sugar to EVER be considered a healthy cereal for kids, despite the claims on the box.

I guess Corn Pops aren't very popular.

You know, crazy foreign lady, we have plenty of cereals that aren't all sugary. Many of which are just lightly sugared too. We have a very wide selection here on this planet.

When I was a kid, I could inhale Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Oh, me too. But the thing that has nutrition groups across the country upset is the new packaging on MANY cereals that claim the stuff is not only healthy, BUT that it somehow benefits you to eat it! See that milk in that splash across the box front? THAT's what has the calcium and vitamin D! NOT the sugary cereal in the bowl! And the stuff at the top is NOT accurate either, according to food groups.

But when I was a kid I couldn't give too flips about whether it was. The sugar made me invincible.
