I implore everybody to watch TNA on January 4th. If anybody remembers WWE hit a low point in 1995. WCW started Nitro in 1995. People started to watch a wrestling oriented show instead of tasteless kiddie cartoon crap. In 1996 WWE improved the quality of their show and their quality (not necessarily ratings) was awesome from 1997-2001. Ever since WCW and ECW closed WWE has been complacent. Vince McMahon has refused to improve WWE. Today if we want to watch wrestling we are forced to watch crap like Little People's Court and bland wrestlers as champions in a tasteless kiddie cartoon crap show. Does this last line sound familiar. Right now 2009 is the bad version of 1995. TNA currently is in WCW's spot (sort of). We as wrestling fans have the power to bring back the Monday Night Wars, or at least higher quality of wrestling. Please support TNA whether you like it or not. For one night only support TNA and boycott RAW. If RAW's ratings are down and TNA's ratings increase Vince McMahon will be worried. We all know how good WWE can be when McMahon is worried.
P.S. Please do not start arguing about how TNA sucks or how WWE sucks. I want to avoid harsh arguements or a war on this forum between TNA and WWE fans.

People will watch what they want to watch, and it's even easier to tape stuff too. Me, I'll probably end up recording them both since I don't get much time on Monday nights. I must say though, as much as things could improve on Raw, I also have no desire to boost Hulk Hogan's ego further. Because, rest assured, if they do well there's only one person going to be claiming all of the credit.

I'll watch it if it seems like it'll be good, or if Raw doesn't sound like they have much lined up. I watch what I like, not to send some message, and to be quite honest, WWE generally does more for me. I will say that I am interested in Joe having the title shot lined up. Hopefully it won't be like how TNA dropped the ball with Hernandez.

I remember when I was a kid and wrestling used to be watchable for kids. You didn't have transexuals, HLA, the bloody matches were on PPV, and the women didn't act like glorified strippers. I'm not saying that all wrestling should be family friendly, but I think we need room for both.
Anyways if I don't work that night I think I'll be watching them both. I haven't really sat down and watched either show in months the whole way through. I'm kind of excited and interested for this.

a lot depends on who's hosting Raw and what's announced for RAW since I have no doubt in my mind that TNA will go all out on the 4th

Yeah the thing is about after this passed Raw being very poor IMO. I think when it comes to the date it going to be what at the time is better. Much like I did during the MNWs I flipped back and forth and watch what I found the more interesting.
If theres lets say MCMG vs. Bristish Invasion and Raw as something like a Divas match which I like great looking women but they can't wrestle most of the time. So yeah I'm watching TNA. But if Raw as something like Kingston vs. Orton and TNA as something like they did last week Eric Young vs. Hamada yeah Raw what I will watch. It all depends on what going on at the time.
Both shows have had bad segements. Both can have good. If The Rock is hosting like rumored it will make a lot of differnce to fans. How ever if it someone not has interesting. It will help TNA. For the state of wrestling should we watch TNA yes but only if it watchable.

I'll watch out of curiosity but if I see Total Non-stop Hogan I'm going back to Hornswoggle.
Also, if Bret hart really hosts RAW that night there is no contest.

I'll be watching both, if and only, if Bret Hart actually retrurns to the E as advertised. Otherwise on January 4th 2010 its' TNA all the way baby!

WWE did the best possible advertising for TNA they could have this past Monday, so, unless every segment is complete Hogan oversaturation, I'll be 100% TNA.

I'll watch whatever show looks like it's going to more interesting.
If it's a standard RAW, I'll probably channel flip.
If it's Bret Hart RAW, yeah, sorry iMPACT, have fun in DVR land until about Wednesday.

Nobody here affects the ratings. Everyone or no one could watch and it would make no difference. This is what people don't get.

Don't worry, I will. Because I want WWE to suffer for Little People's Court.

P.S. Please do not start arguing about how TNA sucks or how WWE sucks. I want to avoid harsh arguements or a war on this forum between TNA and WWE fans. Ever notice that only the TNA sub board has a sticky about people from the other side bashing the board subject?TNA fans are much more well behaved. That or we never have anything else that gets stickyed so they never got around to takeing it down.Ahh well what do you expect, they get Bob Schlapowitz,we get lildude Ill be watching both.Overall TNA has done something in the past that WWE has never done, actually leave my house to watch wrestling. And i've had a lot more opportunities to see WWE live then TNA.Though i am still sad that a was not watching wrestling when ECW still had there own house shows,i wouldn't of had to drive far for that one.what was this thread about again?

Personally I think everyone should go out, buy another TV set and then watch both.
And then get another one for How I Met Your Mother.
