Is Viscera really conserned at this. He was being pushed before his released. He now doing other projects now, taking a break from Wrestling. From what I said in an interview he did not long after his release.

I'm not entirely sure he should be on here either, he got a big push as Big Daddy V at the tail end of his WWE career so he pretty much went full circle. And i wouldn't be shocked if he got another WWE gig sometime down the line. My vote would be for Bundy, to go from headlining Wrestlemania one year to wrestling midgets the next is unimaginable.

I was just thinking off the top of my head. Recent wrestling is not really my forte, but I remember he went from Mabel (main event) to Viscera (midcard monster heel) to JTTS in like 4 years.
Feel free to suggest anyone else.
EDIT: Also was Tommy Rich ever REALLY a main eventer? I mean when he won the World Title he was a midcarder right?

Wasnt Iron Sheik pretty much a jobber after he lost the belt to Hogan ? I know he got a push when he became Col. Mustafa but he wasnt much of a serious threat in that role and played 2nd fiddle to Sgt. Slaughter.

My pick as well. Wildfire was super-over in the early 80's as TBS's top face. One prolonged feud with Buzz Sawyer later, and he was wrestling back in Memphis as half of the New Fabulous Ones.

Rough Timeline: 1984 - lost belt to Hogan 1985-7 - tagged with Volkoff to some success (Tag champs) 1987 - fired for drug abuse 1991 - brought in to do one main event angle as "Col. Mustafa" after which he became a JTTS, for more see this thread. 1993+ - indys and semi-retirement

Also was Tommy Rich ever REALLY a main eventer? I mean when he won the World Title he was a midcarder right? I'll assume that you weren't watching wrestling during Wildfire's stints in Georgia. Dude, he was all over the wrestling magazines and the TBS show, which was aired all over the country at that point. He was the top face, and, hard as it is to believe now, he was a huge star. I wasn't surprised when he won the NWA belt. I was surprised that he held if for such a short time. Not the greatest wrestler and not the best interview even in his prime, but the fans absolutely loved him. Hard to convey that without breaking out a time machine and transporting you to one of the Omni shows or even a Techwood Drive studio taping.

As Allstar said, he was a mega, mega pretty boy face till about 83-84, and then slid rapidly down the pecking order everywhere.

I only saw him in WCW as a pretty low midcarder/ JTTS. JR did give him enough respect to mention his world title though.

As much as it pains me to say because I'm such a fan of the guy, Ultimate Warrior. He was primed to become *the* face of the company, but outside of a somewhat brief reign, never really became that.

Anthony Kiedis?? If heroin were hotdogs. Well, at least Wildfire got a bj from Missy Hyatt, back when she actually looked good. That's gotta be worth something.
