Clothline would've worked so much better. Makes it so much easier for the guy receiving it to make it actually look painful. Still could've kept the legdrop, but winning with it today is mind-boggling.

First one that springs to mind and I CAN'T BELIEVE no one has mentioned it yet is vs. Earthquake at Summerslam 90. It was a countout victory but he celebrates like he's won the Olympics. Ventura's commentary is classic.

You're right but I could have sworn there was a match when Ventura is ripping on Hogan after a count-out win. Any ideas on what that could be?

When he was a villian in the nWo his legdrop was portrayed as very weak. I remember a lot of guys kicking out of it at the time, and probably a lot of matches he just won by cheating although my memory is fuzzy with most of them, because he was putting on terrible matches at the time. One very obvious answer would be the fingerpoke of doom. that's cause he didn't run. Seriously, as I recall in the nWo he just dropped the leg from standing directly over them instead of the whole running legdrop he did.

Is it safe to assume DQ's are DQ'ed?

I think it would work too, borrow some footage from NJPW of him using the Axe Bomber, and have Tenay hype that while the American audience is used to him using the leg drop, he's also been using the devastating move in Japan for years. Also, side note, didn't one of the GCN WWE games have the Axe Bomber as one of his finishers?

Slamboree 2000 against Billy Kidman. IIRC, Kidman set Hogan up on a table and climbed the ropes. When he jumped off Hogan moved out of the way and Kidman went through the table. Hogan went straight for the pin and won the match.

During his heel run with the NWO I can't remember him winning with the leg drop.

All I can think of is Summerslam 1993 when Luger beats Yokozuna by countout. There's confetti, and a bunch of babyfaces come out to celebrate with Luger, while Bobby Heenan says, "Why is he celebrating! He won by countout! He didn't even win the title!"

He hit the leg drop on Sid Justice at WrestleMania VIII... but he didn't win with it. Sid actually kicked out of it somehow, and Hogan went on to win via DQ. Then came Papa Shango and The Ultimate Warrior in what is still the strangest end to any WrestleMania I have ever seen.

Hell I saw him hit an enzuguiri once. Hogan vs. Keiji Mutoh, 1993 New Japan.

Vs. The Giant at Hog Wild 1996. Belt to the head of The Giant, went for the pin. Vs. Warrior at Halloween Havoc 1998. Weakest charishot ever by Horace Hogan. Hulk goes for the pin.
