This thread makes me think... do you think we'd have enough voters for a "greatest Survivor contestant ever" tournament 0-0

This thread makes me think... do you think we'd have enough voters for a "greatest Survivor contestant ever" tournament 0-0 I'd definitely be up for it. We could advertise it in the Survivor thread in Off-Topic as well. Could be a lot of fun.

Alright, the winner of immunity is Trista.
And the three people on the chopping block is Jonathan Michaels, Ritt and D2. Tribal Council starts tonight. Everyone vote for one of those three.

Shouldn't you have extended the voting since the forum was down yesterday?
I tried for a while yesterday to get on but they said it was changing servers.
So how was I supposed to vote?

D2 126 JM 121 Ritt 112 ---------------- Sweet 104 Rush 93 Sam 90 SnS 85 MGH 69 ----------- Trista 66
1st place vote = 1 point, 8th place vote = 8 points. So the lower the score the better. One person didn't vote. If you dived by 21 (7 people x 3 categories), you'll get your average finish.

I see how it is.
Bend over backwards to fix problems in one challenge, but ignore a legitimate complaint in another.

What's it matter? Just vote me so I can say what I need to and leave.

I see how it is. Bend over backwards to fix problems in one challenge, but ignore a legitimate complaint in another. So the forum being down for a couple hours in the two days I give people to vote is a legit complaint. It didn't effect everyone else who got their votes in. I haven't bring anyone back because they complained and whined. I brought the two people back that I did because I wanted to make this game more interesting and thought the idea would be a great twist. I didn't think anyone would get up in arms over a silly internet game, but I was wrong. Memo to everyone. Just because something doesn't go your way doesn't mean I'm trying to screw you. I couldn't care less who wins this game.

But the hours the forum was down were the only time I could have gotten on the forum, thus I had no way of knowing when I was supposed to vote.

I don't know how long the board was down yesterday... But by my count, I think hund gave everyone an extra 5 hours to get the votes in anyway(if I got the time zones right). Hund... Eh, live and learn. I didn't like that people that got eliminated got to come back... Partly cause I felt like we basically negated those eliminations and they didn't have to do anything to earn their way back into the game(not to mention the possibility of an added advantage the rogues could have had if they had won this challenge.). ... But moreso it was just a personal reason that by adding them back to the game hurts my chances of winning it . Not worth quitting over tho, IMO... But to each their own.

My point was, literally the only time in the last couple days I was actually able to get online and come on the forum was about 7:30pmEST yesterday. During that time, the forum was down, so how can I possibly know if voting has even started? And looking at the numbers, I fail to see how my vote will affect the bottom three, however it may affect the top numbers, and I simply feel it's only fair that my votes be allowed to count. It just bugs me that the deadline was so early in the morning, when the library is closed, thus preventing me from voting. And I never really minded your complaint about the South Park trivia, but I don't like it when someone says my complaint is less valid than yours. I just don't see why I am being called a "whiner".

Dont think anyone called you a whiner. Nor did I say your complaint held any less weight.
All I did was note that it appears the board was down a couple hours, and we got five extra hours on the deadline. So there was at least a little compensation, intentional or not.
What i do NOT agree with is your solution... ie - already knowing the results of the challenge and still wanting to vote in an attempt to change them. It may not have been your fault that it was the only time you could get on over the previous 48 hours... nor was it your fault that during those two hours that you could get on, that the board was down. But it wasnt our(the other 7 of us) fault either...and to give you that kind of control over the challenge at this stage is not a good option.
