That second quote was used to "persuade" people to use the vote. I wasn't really going to suspect someone if they weren't going to vote, at least not this time, as there was no concrete case built up on anyone like the one on BD or Square or Dom, last time. I would just like people to vote.

one more post before the lynch and this is my required minimum.
agrre with the others who voted for average, as there's no point in having lurkers around chewing up space.

Vote Above Average
I really don't like how easy day one went. I would rather have tried to draw out passive lurkers but a no show is even worse than a slightly active lurker.

I feel like I should explain why I didn't vote this round.
While voting for Above Average would have been safe, I didn't think it right. I waited for him to kind of explain himself, and unfortuantely he never did. I'll wait to see how this all works out, both the lynch scene and the night actions before making any decisions.

If you think it was wrong to lynch AA, then you think that there was a better option. So I have to ask, what would have been right?

Maybe if he was able to explain himself in time, I would have been able to make a decision on whether to vote for him or not. Or myabe someone else would've popped out at me.
Maybe I wouldn't have voted at all. I've said before I don't like Day One due to how little information you have to go on, whereas Day Two and Day Three help to reveal more about players here. All I know is I didn't feel right voting for AA at the time, hence my vote not going anywhere.

All I know is I didn't feel right voting for AA at the time, hence my vote not going anywhere. Day two and beyond does give some more information... based on what we do day one. Otherwise day 2 and 3 will be just a difficult as day 1. The important thing is voting patterns, and reasoning for voting or not voting. Basically any thoughts on certain wagons. If you don't like certain lynch wagons, you should bring up a different person who you think we should lynch. Fence-sitting is not good. Above average was for today the best lynch, as we get rid of a non-player, at the same time we get reactions on why people voted for or didn't vote for him. Some gave other people who they found suspicious or why they didn't vote. These reactions are what can help us. Here's something I got from this. FoS: Michael Hayden Did the lynch "not feel right" for you, because you know Above Average will flip town? So when he does, you were right for 'playing it safe', thus discouraging people from voting with confidence in the future, to avoid looking like scum jumping.

I didn't mean to discourage anyone from voting with confidence, at least that wasn't my intention. Above Average could flip town or mafia for all I know, and if he flips mafia, it's a huge benefit for us. Voting for him at the time didn't seem right because:
A) I was slightly inactive before, so popping in and voting for Above Average based on inactivity (essentially what all the votes were based on) would have seemed hypocritical, not to mention seem like I was merely jumping on the bandwagon.
B) I wanted to hear Above Average's take on everything before deciding to vote for him.
Again, I can't stress enough that I'm not discouraging people from voting with confidence, because it's something this game needs in order to really thrive. I'm simply stating my reasons for not voting this time around.
I will say though, there is a possibility that at least one mafia member voted for Above Average. He was an easy target, and hiding among the rest of the votes is possible.

And for the part I quoted, I agree 100%. There is someone else I have in mind with just that idea. (General tip for all, be vicious/confident/aggressive in playing these mafia games. Take a firm stance with what you believe. You can get better reactions or reads this way. If you're not confident in your own ideas, then no one will be either.)

Hi, I'm Sid Smash for BBC Sport. Grave news out of South Africa today as Jonny Evans has been found dead in his hotel room. We go to our reporter on the scene Grant Wall
Thanks Sid. I sit here in South Africa with the World Cup only a week away under another black cloud as Northern Ireland defender Jonny Evans has been found murdered in his hotel room. We have some thoughts from other players in South Africa.
Bob Bradley: Honestly, I don't even know what Jonny was doing here. He never got involved in anything so if you ask me. He only brought this on himself.
Ronaldo: While I know that Evans had no business of being here, I went out for a bite and when I got back, the police were here.
All we know now Sid is that Evans has stabbed in the back sometime today by an unknown assassin. Back to you.
After the telecast ended, Bob Bradley brought together a collection of stars of this World Cup.
"Gentlemen, that was almost too easy. See what happens when people offer little resistant to their fate. We shall rule this World Cup gentlemen. Just stick to the plan and all will remain clear. DEAD: Above Average/Jonny EvansStill alive 1) SnS 2) Jonathan Michaels 3) Scruffy 4) The Dom 5) Sawyer 6) Ritt 7) RatedGDR 8) Michael Hayden 9) D2 10) Pegasus Warrior 11) Doley 12) Herr Hund 13) Gunslinger IT IS NOW NIGHT! During night phase no one will post in this thread. The first time you do it's a warning. The second it's a Mod Kill, no exceptions! Night will last 72 hours, so Night ends at Noon board time on June 8th. However, if people get night actions to me before then, Night may be shortened.
If you have a night action please PM it to me. Once all actions are received, Night 1 will end and Day 2 shall begin.

Sid Smash: Breaking news from Soccer City tonight as we have found both Diego Maradona and Arjen Robben dead. No word yet coming in. More to come later "I know I'll find something in here soon." Came to voice of Maradona as he thumbed through the luggage of Thierry Henry, but He found nothing implicating that Henry had even done anything.
That was because Henry was at the Dutch training ground with his weapon of choice, waiting to spring a trap on Arjen Robben. "Arjen, J'ai quelque chose J'ai besoin de vous montrer." What Mr. Henry needed to show him was the end of a knife in the back.
Meanwhile back at Soccer City Diego sat down with Bob Bradley to discuss how to take out the threat "Oh Diego, just go get some beer, it will be fine. While Maradona is away Bradley adds some Arsenic to his food and when Diego take s a bite, he dies.
Watching this is Henry saying "Il semble que nous avons une nouvelle menace. Ils doivent tous tomber."DEAD Day1: Jonny Evans/Above Average CoD: Lynching Day 2: Diego Maradona/D2 Town Insane Cop CoD: Poison Arjen Robben/Peagus Warrior CoD: Knife Wound Still Alive 1) SnS 2) Jonathan Michaels 3) Scruffy 4) The Dom 5) Sawyer 6) Ritt 7) RatedGDR 8) Michael Hayden 9) Doley 10) Herr Hund 11) Gunslinger It is now Day 2, with 11 alive it will take 6 to lynch.

So, we need to figure out who is Henry and Bradley.
Seems like we should be able to figure out the Henry one pretty easily, right?

I would like to hear Doley say someething. If we're going to move this game along, lynching the lurkers is the best policy in my opinion. He's of no use to anyone not participating.

So we have a serial killer and the mafia to deal with now.
I kind of want to hear from Gunslinger and Doley. Neither were really active Day 1 and I want to see what there thoughts are on what transpired at night
