I would mark if Kane won the Rumble. The man deserves it.
It won't happen but I would mark.

Despite what they have said in the past and will likely tell you this year, #1 is not the worst possible number to draw. It's actually tied with #2 as the worst possible draw. There is no inherent advantage to having #2 over #1 since both start off the match on equal footing. The only way #1 would be the worst number is if #1 gets beaten with a sack of doorknobs before #2 enters.

I always thought #1 should have to do push-ups or sit-ups or squats or something for 2 minutes until #2 entered. Just to really give #1 that disadvantage.

Actually The Undertaker has 37 eliminations vs Austin's 36. My list from last year, which I need to dig up, will show that.

The only way #1 would be the worst number is if #1 gets beaten with a sack of doorknobs before #2 enters. Well, let's look at a list of the first guys eliminated from each Royal Rumble and the number they drew: 1988: Butch Reed (#3) 1989: Smash of "Demolition" (#2) 1990: Koko B. Ware (#2) 1991: Dino Bravo (#2) 1992: Ted DiBiase (#2) 1993: Papa Shango (#3) 1994: Samu (#2) 1995: Jimmy Del Ray (#5) 1996: Bob Backlund (#3) 1997: Fake Razor Ramon (#3) 1998: Tom Brandi (#3) 1999: Golga (#3) 2000: Mosh (#3) 2001: Bull Buchanan (#2) 2002: The Big Bossman (#3) 2003: Shawn Michaels (#1) 2004: Bradshaw (#5) 2005: Daniel Puder (#3) 2006: Simon Dean (#3) 2007: Ric Flair (#1) 2008: Santino Marella (#3) 2009: The Great Khali (#5) Here's a standing of those spots (oddly enough, entry #4 has never been the first one eliminated): #1: 2 times #2: 6 times #3: 11 times #5: 3 times By the process of elimination, #3 can be considered a kiss of death, although there have been 2 or 3 winners from that pick as well (I think).

The only time #3 ever did much of anything was, obviously, when Flair won.

Shawn Michaels in 1996 (#18) and Hacksaw Jim Duggan in 1988 (#13) are the only winners to have drawn numbers between 10 and 20.
Undertaker has drawn #30 three times, in 1997, 2003, and 2007. Nobody else has even drawn #30 twice.
Big John Studd, Vince Mcmahon, and Brock Lesnar are undefeated in rumble matches (they're all 1-0).

If I were Kane in the Rumble, I would repeatedly do the 'flames in the corners' thing, until everyone else in the match would be like "Screw this!" and eliminate themselves to avoid potentially getting burned.
Here's one: Jim Duggan holds the record for the longest time between Rumbles - 17 years (1992, 2009).

Ted Dibiase Sr., Rikishi, and the Undertaker all hold what distinction in the Royal Rumble? They drew number 30 and 1 in consecutive years Correct. Although, DiBiase didn't draw #30 he brought it and Rikishi won #30 in a match.

Actually, I think #2 is a worse draw because the #1 guy can jump the #2 guy as he enters the ring.

Scotty 2 Hotty had the worst luck of anybody in Rumble history.
2000 - Eliminated by Rikishi whilst dancing 2001 - Gets obliterated by Taker and Kane 2002 - Attacked on the way to the ring by 'Taker 2005 - Attacked on the way to the ring by Hassan

(reposted from other thread)
Here's some Royal Rumble facts:
-Since 2003 at least one of the first 2 entrants have either been a former winner of the Royal Rumble or won the rumble that year.
-Undertaker, Rikishi, Ted Dibiase, and Ric Flair are the only people that have all drawn #1 and #30
-Albert/A-Train has been eliminted by Kane 3 times
-Shelton Benjamin has been eliminated eliminated by Shawn Michaels 3 times
-Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Big John Studd, Ric Flair, Lex Luger (co winner), Vince McMahon, Brock Lesnar, and Chris Benoit all won in their Royal Rumble debuts
-Big John Studd, Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar are the only participants that have never been eliminated in the Royal Rumble.
-Glen Jacobs (Kane, Fake Diesel, Isaac Yankem) has been in every rumble from 1996-2009 with the exception of 1998.
-Edge has drawn #5 3 times (1999, 2003, 2007)
-Undertaker has drawn #30 3 times (1997, 2003, 2007)
-Shawn Michaels has been one of the first 2 entrants 3 times.
-Brittish Bulldog, Ted Dibiase, Ric Flair, Triple H, Chris Benoit and Rey Mysterio have been one of the first 2 entrants twice.
-1988(obviously), 1989, 1990, 1994, 2000 and 2004 are the only Royal Rumbles to not have a previous winner in it.
-Shawn Michaels is the only person to win a 30 man royal rumble who drew a number in the teens.
-"The Andre the Giant philosophy" has failed way more times than it has worked. Sorry JR.

Since 1999, every Royal Rumble except that in 2001 has been won by someone who had never won it before -
1999. Vince McMahon 2000. The Rock 2001. Steve Austin 2002. Triple H 2003. Brock Lesnar 2004. Chris Benoit 2005. Batista 2006. Rey Mysterio 2007. The Undertaker 2008. John Cena 2009. Randy Orton

Only 5 heels have won the Royal Rumble (Ric Flair, Yokozuna, Steve Austin(1997), Vince McMahon, Randy Orton) and since 1993 when a victory meant a Wrestlemania main event no heel that won left Wrestlemania as the champion.
