Al Snow, (2 Cold) Scorpio, the Blue Meanie, Bob (pre-Hardcore) Holly, Gillberg - what did everyone think of this talented, yet un-pushed faction? And by "un-pushed," I mean, they got some notable wins and angles, but if your team has "job" in its name, it's not very likely you'll go far. I was a fan of Snow and Scorpio, and I think they should have been pushed as a tag team; Holly was ok, but I didn't really start appreciating him until he became Hardcore Holly. As for Gillberg: a joke gimmick is fine once in a while, but the man was Light Heavyweight champion for over a year! Oh, and the Blue Meanie is always awesome.

I was always a big Al Snow fan. Scorpio was cool, Blue Meanie was cool, and since I hated Goldberg at the time, I got a big kick out of Gillberg. I hoped that this faction would lead to something cool happening for any of those guys (Bob Holly, I didn't really care for). But, aside from the Light Heavyweight Title, nothing came their way.

I like how the whole thing was never adiquately explained. One week they were suddenly the JOB Squad, and then they stopped teaming together a few weeks later.

I believe the group ended when Al Snow and Bob Holly started a feud, that began when Bob tried to stop Al from having a hardcore match with himself.

I loved the idea.
Didn't they say their unseen adversaries were the mysterious "P.U.S.H."?

Scorpio got released about a week before this, but yeah. Though I can't remember which one, if either, turned heel. And Meanie suddenly turned heel and became Goldust's disciple.

I have always loved the fact that when Foley won the WWE title for the first time he was wearing a JOB Squad shirt under his Mankind costume.

That was classic Russo booking for ya. Using insider terms, but in a subtle faction. BTW, J.O.B. stood for Just Over Broke.

I loved them, gave the guys something to do when otherwise they'd have had nothing.

I remember one week when I think it was Snow & Holly beat the New Age Outlaws in a match full of shenanigans.
I marked.

I remember Gillberg "retiring" Marc Mero.
Man, I wish I could find that match

I always thought that they could have tried this again a couple of years ago when Colt Cabana was on SmackDown. He never did win a match, but I could have seen him be the leader of a goofy jobber faction.
