It is funny because one man saying another man has great legs sounds like he is homosexual.

This sounds like a total fan fic ;D, Miz Mary Sue'd himself:
Robinson: One of the cool things you can do in the game is write your own storylines. If you could write your own storyline up until WrestleMania, what would it be?
The Miz: All the Divas start really, really wanting to be with me. They start to help me out however they can, even blowing me kisses during my matches and helping me win. It then ends up with a battle royal with Divas for my love. That's one storyline that could take place, then that feeds into me working my way up and going up against The Rock. Why The Rock? The Rock is my favorite wrestler of all time, and I always wanted to beat The Rock.
So my storyline would go like this: I would beat John Cena in five minutes, because he beat me in under five minutes to get me banned on Raw. Him and Jeremy Piven and the naked guy from 'The Hangover.' Anyway, I defeat John Cena in five minutes, then Jeremy Piven comes down the aisle and I beat him up, then I beat up the naked guy, but he's not naked at the time, because that would be kind of weird.
Then I move on to fight Stone Cold Steve Austin. I am going to beat Stone Cold Steve Austin, then I am going to steal his catchphrase of 'Hell yeah!' If you want to see The Miz kick Stone Cold Steve Austin's ass, let me hear you say 'Hell yeah … hell yeah!' What? Because I'm The Miz and I'm awesome. Then I move onto Wrestlemania against The Rock. Not only do I beat him with the Rock Bottom and the People's Elbow, which I steal and claim as my own, but I kill him with a skull-crushing finale. He's dead, so I steal all of his movie roles. That's my story.

He told pretty much the exact same thing to Jericho if his interviews are to be believed. Yes, Jericho said Vince mentioned the same thing to him. It was just something Jericho had decided to do himself, part of the switch from Happy Funtime Jericho to Super SRS Jericho, but Vince mentioned the legs too. Hey, it's the wrestling biz. You have to think a lot about your body image, both wrestler and promoter. At least Vince didn't complement him on his package.

Can we do something with that dong? Let's show that dong off!"

Vince has always had a thing with legs. He has made fun of other wrestlers on air before for having chicken legs. So basically, Vince considers anything other than trunks being a step down as the person isn't unique enough or serious enough to wear trunks. Odd way to look at things. It says a lot about Vince's like of guys like Cody Rhodes vs guys like Christian. Shawn, Angle, Bret ..... what are you lookin at 'Taker, take them 20 years of service and STICK IT. Edge, YOUUUUUU'RE FIRRRRRRRREEED.

If you've ever seen John Cena in person, the man's legs are in no way proportional to his body. I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a case of the chicken legs, but it's definitely something you'd rather hide. Plus, the look is over. It's an old trick, for years Bret Hart and many other wrestlers have worn the singlet to avoid ab workouts. Legs, thighs, and calves are a classic bodybuilding obstacle, if you don't have it genetically it's going to be a straight-up bitch to build your legs. Buff Bagwell went as far as getting implants and if I can remember correctly they ended up busting over time.

So the Buff Bagwell calf implant stories actually had legs?

Vince actually is right, though, though maybe not so much about the legs specifically: the trunks show off he's actually in better shape than a lot of us expected. I remember myself, and many others, saying "you know, that Calgary Kid outfit isn't bad look for him." The shorts made him look chubby.

I remember being shocked when the Miz was revealed as the Calgary kid. And I knew he'd been banned from Raw and it would make sense, but I did not think the Miz was in that good of shape. I figured that was the reason for his shorts.
