I was Altavista mostly.
And I used the short-lived DirectHit when it was around. I liked that for some reason.

Excite. Why? One reason is because they hosted a live internet chat with Chris Kanyon, during which I was able to ask Kanyon a question.

Yahoo, and I still use it rather than Google for things like movie times, news, and e-mail. QFT. I used to use use.com, popped up around the same time as Google. (Some say before)

I used to go out of my way to use webcrawler, until about 2005. Their porm filters killed it for me.

Yahoo, followed by Hotbot, followed by AltaVista.
I remember searching on Yahoo back when they had that akebono.stanford.yahoo.edu address.

WebCrawler and Altavista back when I had AOL 3.0, yahoo almost as soon as I found it till Google.
