Cena is the face of the company and easily their top guy. Using anyone else is just not smart business. That's like in the 80's, having Koko B Ware make the save on someone in a major angle instead of Hogan Isn't he busy with Bret? I thought that wrote the cheques alone. You know... the biggest storyline that has been 12 years in the making, that somehow magically resolves around "their boy" and Basketball Jones? Triple H is in the match, he's just as popular, if not more than Cena is. The kids love their DX, they have him. And it's not like it's something "new" anyways, the kids already had Cena as the champion, I'm sure they won't mind one PPV where he does something new for a change. If HHH was as popular as Cena, then why wasn't the crowd chanting for him instead of Cena at the conclusion of RAW last week? Just an observation.

Maybe Bret's promo went on way longer than it was supposed to and they had to go off air before getting to the good stuff. Y'know, just like in the old days. "Are you finished?" Actually, if that's the case, blame Vince. Did you see how long he dragged that out? Vince was probably shooting though, everything he said was packed with legitimate hatred. If HHH was as popular as Cena, then why wasn't the crowd chanting for him instead of Cena at the conclusion of RAW last week? Just an observation. Yeah, it's not like HHH was the one lobbying for Vince to bring back Bret. Undertaker did too though, as did Shawn Michaels. Shawn was the one who started this-HHHHHHOOOOOOOOOLD UP. Shawn Michaels started this when he convinced McMahon to let Bret back in the first place. He hugged Bret and left, which was cool, but anti-climactic. Suddenly I think he's not done with this angle

I think this was a case of Promo overrun.

I just think it's hilarious Cena was nice enough to show up for the save AFTER Bret has already been beaten up by Batista and spat on by Vince. WHAT A HERO.
