Just to clarify, being the least talented of the Beatles is hardly a slight, the guy is a great talent, it's just the other 3 were better.

I really don't get all the hate for Ringo. I don't even understand why he's so "untalented." He was a fantastic drummer that always complemented the songs perfectly, no matter what. The man is a genius. Those sketches are still terrible.

Yeah, the disdain Ringo gets is mostly good-natured. He's the wacky sidekick of the Beatles, but only three people have done better. Ask the other Beatles (well, ask Paul, unless you've got a Ouija Board). He was the glue that held them together for so long (and the only common link amongst the majority of their solo albums in the '70s)

I really don't get all the hate for Ringo. I don't even understand why he's so "untalented." He was a fantastic drummer that always complemented the songs perfectly, no matter what. The man is a genius. Indeed. I think it's in part due to him not seeming to have the drive to have focus on him like the others. Even Paul or John while he was alive would be quick to admit to having large egos. Ringo seemed/seems content to lead a more modest existence, and some people mistake subtlety for a lack of talent.
