And now, the big reveal ... *drumroll* The Tom-Tom Club is a new podcast on WrestleCrap! Hosted by yours truly and Scott "Ace Baretta" Barry, The Tom-Tom Club will be a weekly podcast, discussing all the wrestling, MMA, pop culture, sports and whatever other news we feel like discussing. If you think of WrestleCrap Radio as Mad Magazine, we're more liked Cracked.com ... or, more appropriately, The Daily Show. Irreverent, sarcastic, flippant ... but informative nonetheless. Listener interaction will be a big function of it. If you have Skype, you'll be able to "call in" and join the show live during recording (Wednesdays at 8-ish EST). We're also looking at ways to get non-Skype users to either call in, or IM in. Email, also, is an option; we already have an email set up: tomtomclubshow@gmail.com. Questions, comments, what have you ... it's all up in the air, as the show will be free-format. We also have a fan participation issue regarding local promotions ... if you know of, or work for, a local promotion -- either MMA or wrestling -- and you'd like to publicize it, send us all the pertinent info, and we'll pick one a week and pimp the hell out of your upcoming card! The show will be available two ways. The first is mevio.com, available here: tomtomclubshow.mevio.com/In fact, "Episode Zero" is up right now. It's basically an introduction and quick biography of us and the show's premise. It's about a 30 minute show, if I remember correctly. Future shows will not be so short. Also, we'll be on iTunes. So, you have not one but two ways to find us. The official show debut will be next Friday, so, presuming you listen to WCR and RD & Blade record next week, you'll have not one but TWO podcasts to listen to next week! So ... go ... listen to Ep Zero ... email us with ideas ... join us on Skype if you can (my name is Grayjedi, Scott's is The Luchanon) ... but whatever you do, LISTEN TO THE DAMNED SHOW!!! Listening right now. One thing off the bat is that you need to edit the voices down to one channel. Podcast really shouldn't be stereo except for music.

I did check and, sure enough, it was recorded in stereo. We can try mono on the first official show, see how it fares.
