...What would you think?
(thread title not long enough, I dunno whats with this place and short thread titles)
Anyway, I really wanna get a collar and wear it around as a form of jewelry because I think it looks cool, feels nice and because I can attach a jingly tag to it. But I am concerned what people would think, like, I am not into BDSM or anything like that, but I suspect people might think that I am just because I am wearing a collar.
So tell me what YOU would think and be honest please.
thx.

Dude, collars are f***ING HAWT on women. I love collars on chicks.
Especially cat collars, namely ones with a little bell on it.
Dunno why, though.....

When I first met my friend Erin, she was wearing a collar. I remember thinking that it was cute on her. But whatever you want to do, Hell, go for it. What is the worst thing that could happen?

Honestly if you're worried about everyone elses reaction why wear something that is going to make you stick out like that?
You either wear it and don't care what people think, or you care about what people think and don't wear it.

You either wear it and don't care what people think, or you care about what people think and don't wear it. That's pretty much it. In this day and age, alternative fashions aren't nearly as alternative as some would think they are. If you're concerned about what others think, then maybe it's not for you. But so long as it's casual wear and what not, it shouldn't be a problem. Just don't go wearing it to job interviews.

Haha, I doubt it would make a difference on job interviews, I've had a few so far over the past few MONTHS looking for a job and never get any calls back...and I dress fancy/corporate.

I'd think you to be submissive that has a mistress that drags you around and walks you like a dog with a leash, not that there's anything wrong with that. I think being submissive is pretty hot but behind close doors though I wouldn't wanna wear a collar around and broadcast it.

People may think you're weird (and bah gawd do people think I'm weird), but they probably won't shun you. Many people won't care what you look like. Besides, If you're cool with who you are, why should you care what others think of you? I wouldn't wear it on a job interview though, unless you were applying at Hot Topic or some place like that.

back in the 90s (jr high) I used to make big thick collars with spikes and studs on them. The punks at school used to love them. They'd buy all the materials they wanted and I'd make it for them for $20. After a while There were quite a few people wearing my collars. But I honestly never sold one to someone who wasn't a punk (Unless it was someone buying one for his dog) and I haven't seen anyone wear one in years. here's an idea of what they looked like. (not one of my designs but basically the idea)

If they were a dog named Butkus, I wouldn't think anything. If they weren't, I'd just think they hated their parents.

I'd think "that man was wearing a collar" and then probably forget about it. The only item of neck wear that gives me the creeps is the bow tie, especially colourful ones.

Yeah, a dog collar with a tag would be cool, I think. Especially if you put your phone number and address on it.

If I saw someone in a collar I might assume that they were a DearS.

*shrug*
If you're under 30 and not wearing it to a job interview, ok.
But if you're getting anywhere close to 30 it's probably going to hurt your chances of finding a relationship.
