The problem with that belief is we have cold hard facts which show that they did get fans to tune in. A week after doing "the worst angle in the history of wrestling" according to smarks and WC, they opened their show with a 1.51 rating. Overall the show did a 1.4 which was a record for Impact on Thursday. Well, like I said, you have to get people watching. Just talking isn't enough. Enough people decided, for whatever reasons, to watch for the show to get the rating it did. That doesn't disprove the statement: just getting people to talk about it isn't enough. People talked a lot about Katie Vick, too, but it was the s***s. I'm not sure if the ratings reflected it or not, but I think from the moment it happened to present date, I've seen 2 people defend it as being good. And a lot of people who claim to have done as I did and changed the channel. We were talking about it. But how many of us watched the whole thing? What are you talking about, the Katey Vick night was the biggest event in the history of our sport. LOL JK
