I think I like Wolfe in part since he always makes me think of Guy Ritchie and Jason Statham heist sort of movies. Was JUST about to say that he reminds me of Statham a bit on the mic. They should play that aspect of his character up.

Now that he's gone back to his original wrestling style, Nigel has been great. I was always a fan of the guy, he was the reason I got so interested in the ROH product during his Pure title run.

I've met the guy several times and hes a class act...He's also severely charismatic in his own unique way and is a great worker in the ring...I am loving the Wolfe character however I truly loath his new long tights he debuted at Genesis. The color scheme was horrible and they looked really cheap.

I love Wolfe and his character. I only wish this 'reboot' hadn't happened so that his feud with Angle wouldn't have been swept under the rug. I loved the whole aspect of this mysterious cool guy coming inand saying that his name, at the moment, is Desmond Wolfe and he's been sent to TNA to take out Angle.
Too bad it'll never be further explored. Sigh.

I'm surprised I like him as much as I do. Very innovative in the ring, and I love the fact he can get away with calling everyone wankers, and his two finger salute. His englishness is part of his gimmick but dosen't define it. Cool to see

I know nothing of his work as Nigel McGuiness, But as Desmond Wolfe he is the 'dog's bollocks' as he might say (that's a good thing by the way)
He's the best thing going on TNA today, when he is wrestling or speaking, I pay attention to theTV.
I hope he has not finished with Angle though, I feel that fued still had legs. But the pope fued is pretty great too.
Oh and 'Desmond Wolfe' is a badass name, so much better that Nigel McGuiness.

Ok, I'll be the one to say it. I haven't warmed up to Desmond Wolfe the way many people have. He's ok, I guess, but that's as far as I go.
Why? part of me still believes image is important in wrestling-and Desmond looks like any guy off the street.
Why? maybe I haven't seen enough of his matches, but i haven't been blown away the way many people here have by his in-ring performance.
Why?his mic skills are ok, but not great imho.
Ok, I said it.
