Mr. Anderson's entrance was awesome and it was great to see him. Then, his match started. That was a pretty damn bad way to debut the guy and he didn't help himself at all. It reminded me of that Shane Douglas vs. Pitbull II at the first ECW PPV, and that's not a good thing. That's...a bad thing.

I thought it went pretty well. The match was what you would expect in a match with Abyss minus thumb tacks and other weapons. He'll be fine and it's a big pick up for TNA, IF he can stay healthy.

I am not going to blame Anderson. Abyss just isn't the guy you debut someone against and expect a good match.

A match like this was, as my friend put it, "pedestrian", which apparently means a generic wrestling match (I dunno, ask him). The match was just kinda bland. Abyss didn't try for a Black Hole Slam, and the guy's been neutered as it is to being a hobo from the monster he used to be. Anderson wasn't all that good either, so...it was eh.

They should've put Kennedy against Samoa Joe. That would've rocked and the crowd would've been a lot more into the match.

That's true, but the fact that Anderson is even perceived as enough of a star to be a Hogan crony without really accomplishing all that much in the business, it shows you how over the guy really is. He's a polarizing figure, but he gets people talking more than most other wrestlers right now.

He acts like a face, then turns heel midmatch when the fans start hating on him, then he hits the heel finish with the brass knucks, then does an impression of those grating moments from Family Guy. What the hell am I supposed to think? Throw in the uninspired match and to me it was quite the poor debut.

He was a mid-carder, is a mid-carder and will remain a mid-carder

Their "game changer" was a lame guy who got fired and was practically a professional crap-talker? Great job, TNA. Give us confidence in the future

I'm referring to the fact that it's being considered a controversial signing, and not for the same reason as guys like the Nasties or the Old World Order.

Mr. Kennedy Anderson is the Greg Oden of professional wrestling. Huge potential and the hype that comes with it, but thus far his career has been derailed by multiple injuries.
As a TNA fan that thinks Kennedy Anderson has megastar potential, I'm glad he was injury prone while with the WWE. It lowered his stock enough in McMahonland to the point that he was fired (after being Wrestlemania main event material), thus allowing TNA to snatch him up. Barring more unfortunate injuries, it's a great signing. We're talking about a guy who has a megastar personality; a guy with enough charisma and 'It Factor' to be the eventual face of TNA.

This guy will be the future of TNA if his shoulder doesn't bother him anymore. And I don't know what everybody is saying? he debuted as a heel, fought a face and beat him as a heel. I thought the "You missed me? Well I missed myself!" comment gave it away. And then he started drowning the "OVER-RATED" chants and practically mocked the internet by overselling his wrist at the end. The guy is gold and can only get better. The name didn't flop at all, it's great that they're treating this guy as a huge deal. When WWE doesn't do it, you complain, when TNA does do it, it's overhyped. Seems that you can never win .
