I think the ladder ending actually happened in TNA. I'd also like to credit myself with thinking of this ending when I had an e-fed 6 yrs ago

it would be funny if Cryme Time came in and stole the belt, crediting their recent speed and endurance training for the victory Not really.

Well if they felt like booking a finish like that and going ahead and saying the new guy wins, I guess they could...highly unlikely though.

Would certainly work for MitB Ladder Matches. I'm Sure That at TLC I at SummerSlam 2000, it was discussed to have Jeff Hardy grab down one belt and Christian grab down the other leading to the Cage Match (Which did eventually happen). Sure it was Michael Hayes who suggested as he had a lot of input in the Tag Matches with the Hardyz and E&C

How about a 30-man ladder match royal rumble. Start with 2 ladders in the ring. Play it as the royal rumble but make it a ladder match. If you go out the ring and touch the floor, you lose. That'd be a terrific match.

I always thought an interesting finnish in a tag ladder match would be one guy from each team grabbing down a single title at the same time. First of all I don't know how to do two qoutes in a post so yeah Sean Waltman won the x title in a 6 man ladder match, but it was sort of an open invitational ladder match that he showed up to at the very end just to get the belt (smart guy) from the qoute, replace tag ladder match with tag ultimate x match and you have a possible finish for LAX for Styles/Daniels

I've tried this a few times on SvR2006 when either myself or the computer has a run in partner. I beat on my opponent and try to let the interferer (sp?) get the belt but I never can manage it.

that would only work if someone had a MITB-style title shot contract. Seriously.... if the MITB winner didnt carry that infernal briefcase ALL the time, they booked the guy in another match, and totally ignored him (in the title storyline) until the MOMENT it happend... that would not only work .... THAT WOULD EFFIN RULE. Kudos sir. Kudos. Hell, even run a classic WM 4 type tourney afterwards. That may be the best board idea I have EEEEEEEVER seen.

Was the "jump from the turnbuckle to try and reach the belt" idea ever done before RVD did it in ECW? Im sure it was as Im sure lots of people have thought about that happening before.
If not then I would like to credit myself for that finish/idea in my fed a couple years ago.
The guy did reach the belt since it the rope was actually swinging around and close to him, BUT the match was restarted due to the fact that it was a LADDER match...

Not really. It'd be like running onto a football pitch, kicking the ball in the net and deciding you'd won the FA Cup. But the difference would be that in that case, the match would simply continue. If Scotty 2 Hotty runs down, steals the belt and runs of into the crowd, then Edge and Cena wouldn't be able to continue since the match no longer can be won...

But if the belt landed right on top of the ladder, will it mean that the ladder would be the new champion?
