I always saw it as WCW's answer to WM 8 in that it was a perfect mix of rising young stars and the last of some of the old ones. Yea this was a definite moment of everything coming together. Hell this was during the Nasty Boys streak of having good matches which was probably the only time that happened

I remember this show. It was the first WCW PPV I watched. Truly an outstanding show.

I have that on VHS somewhere. I haven't watched in in a long time. I may have to dig it up or find a DVD of it online.

I saw this not too many years ago. Bossman/Vader is definitely great work from both guys. Very high energy big man brawl.

Aaron Neville singing the national anthem is the funniest thing I've ever heard.
I didn't know his singing style until watching it and at that point I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard. My mom came in and said, "Oh yeah, that's how he sings."
And the big thing on his forehead.
But yeah, great show all around.

What about the very non-wrestlecrap cruiserweight division? I can say it's a lot better than the early 90's light heavyweight division they had. The early 90s division that gave us the MOTY for 1992? (Liger/Pillman II)

(Liger/Pillman II) While that was an awesome match, I disagree that it was MOTY 1992. I'd rate the following over it: - Sting's Squadron vs. The Dangerous Alliance Wargames from Wrestlewar - Steamboat/ Rude Iron Man match from Beach Blast - Steiners vs. Fujinami/ Izuka from Beach Blast - Sting vs. Vader strap match from Starrcade - The Royal Rumble - Flair vs. Savage, Wrestlemania - Bret Hart vs. Bulldog, Summerslam

Okay, I just sat down and watched this show and all I gotta say is HOLY S*** ON A S*** WITH S*** ON TOP....WITH A SIDE ORDER OF S***
in terms of great top to bottom ppv cards with has to be at least in the top 5 or at least 10 of all time.
And Jerry I gotta say thanks for the recommendation, i chose to watch this over what was apparently the worst raw of all time tonight.
Now with that im off to watch Slamboree 1994!
Do not type around the filters! ~Ric

I don't get the love for Vader/Boss. Vader did great work, but Boss was terrible at bumping and selling. Getting up immediately after the moonsault really was just stupid.
