Hmmm... I was worried they'd have Punk do it actually, I'm glad they didn't. Last thing I wanted to see was the SES all eating stunners and killing their heat, there's absolutely no other way that scenario would have unfolded.

It was almost like he wasn't there? I thought they'd use him more than they did. His role seemed very minor to me, and I hate Steve Austin.

So Austin is our guest host for tonight's RAW. I'll be watching because I'm curious to see what he does. Assuming that the WWE's PG neutering tool is not used on Austin, and he comes out and drinks beers in the ring, WWE Creative simply has to have Punk and the SES come out and confront him. It's a no-brainer. But then again, with the PG dial turned up to the max now since we're in an election year, Austin will probably be knocking back O'Douls and Coors Cutter Ah, WWE Creative. Strive to fail.

However, for the gimmick they have, How cool would it be for SES to interact with Austin?

I was surprised that they kept his role so small, I thought we would have seen him interact with more of the Rewind matches, seeing as he has history with HHH, HBK, Jericho, and to a smaller extent Big Show and Orton. Remember Orton was the reason Austin was kicked out of his Co-GM job.

First Bret has absolutely zero interaction with the Hart Dynasty, whom he SHOULD be there to help get over / manage.... then they waste Austin.... sigh. I've been a WWF/E fan since I was 3 years old, but they've finally managed to kill it for me. If Rock is smart, he'll just stay away.
