I think there is a thread already for stuff like this....it's got AJ Styles and is on the TNA board...or the Wrest has a general topic. Keep it off of here as far as I'm concerned. "You'd better take your gay porn and walk right out of this bar."

Yes, because that's exactly what pro wrestling needs...even MORE reason for people to talk shit because we're essentially watching "half naked grown men rub up against each other in their underwear" yeah...good thinking

How about a compromise between the two? A transsexual division! Come on, you all knew I was going bring this up eventually. They can compete for the Best of Both Worlds Championship!

Would you like to see a male, all man version of the Diva's division?
Basically a bunch of guys who can barely wrestle but are only there for their looks and have their own title and do silly matches like mud match over the title.
They can be called "The Studs" and the title can be called the "Stud Title".
I think this would be pretty awesome and a good way to work some guys who look good but cant really wrestle as good as they look. And it would get guys over if they "work" from the Studs division into another title division and become competetive. Also the other guys would make fun of "The Studs", but to their disappointment, the Studs will get all the ladies.
This is seriously one of the funniest and awesomely terrible ideas I've read. And I mean that in a good way! I can't believe so many people are taking this so seriously. The Studs division would work out, but it would require a storyline where one stud gets singled out for being fat by the heel studs, and Todd Grisham can be like "This is not funny."

I'd prefer to see a female version of the men's division, where, you know, they hire women who can wrestle and give them a decent amount of time to work. You all knew I was going to say this, right?

Regular pro wrestling is already bad enough, and looks pretty gay to the outsider. This would, well, I'd have no way to even defend it. And I'm not sure who it'd appeal to honestly. Women wouldn't be into it, straight men would be horrified and gay men would just think it's retarded.

Good God man wrestling's already looked down on enough. We don't need it to hit rock bottom with stuff like this.

I'm trying to figure out a way that this logic DOESN'T mean I'm a lesbian. Because I'm a straight woman who watches a program that treats women this way... but men being treated in a similar manner would make the straight male fans look gay? I don't get it.
I think the idea is hilarious and awesome. Two serious classes of wrestlers, both women and men (with the women's title and the other male titles), and then two eyecandy classes of wrestlers, both women and men (with the divas titles). I especially like the idea that, on occasion, one of the (male OR female) wrestlers who was pegged as just a pretty face starts taking their sport seriously and moves up into the srs divisions.

Not trying to offend anyone, but it's the whole "oiled up guys in underwear rolling around" crticism. I've had gay friends see me watching wrestling and flat out say "dude, that's the gay as hell"

I'm not sure if the world is ready for an entire division of Shawn Stasiaks.

It's called Raw...just kidding. But seriously, I get where you're coming from. The David Otungas of the world should be given a show where they can talk and pose and then slap-fight each other. So wrestling fans could ignore it and bitch about either indie darlings or kid-oriented babyface ubermenschen. I'm just trying to make light of what works, for me, as a reductio ad absurdum argument about both the Divas divisions and the way WWE brings in way too many (1 is too many) superstars who can't wrestle and then have their lead announcer, host AND multiple champion bury the importance of wrestling ability, even in an attempt to get heat for the great wrestler. It seems like such an odd method of writing/booking (may prove effective, but...)

I'm actually kinda surprised that no one has done a stable like this (that I know of). After all, TNA has "The Beautiful People." Just think of a stable of men that say "I'm better looking than you, richer than you, get more women than you, etc." The WWE currently has a few people that could do something like this:
John Morrison (he was practically doing this as a heel) Chris Masters Dolph Ziggler (just think of the first line in his theme song) Zach Ryder Miz Batista Maybe Cody Rhodes can be here after Legacy breaks up
