What were some of the stupid things from this? Nothing in it was really blatantly wrong except for maybe a few things but I think people make fun of it just for the absurdity of it. Especially for the fact that it came out in 1998 and people had speculated wrestling being fake since the 1950s. A lot of the stuff they showed most fans already knew from other news stories that others had done most notably John Stossel's story on ABC where he got slapped by Dr. D. So some things I want to know. Does anyone actually know who all the wrestlers were? What did they get completely wrong on? And this is just an opinion but do you think some of the wrestlers that were on it were actually ribbing the producers with some of the crazier absurd stuff? lol

I know Harley Race was "the booker" and Mike Modest was one of the wrestlers. According to imdb, the Pitbulls were another two.

I know Harley Race was "the booker" and Mike Modest was one of the wrestlers. According to imdb, the Pitbulls were another two. I actually question all four of those accusations(yes I call it that because that is what it is) because I don't believe any of those four have ever confirmed it. Michael Modest is suppose to be The All American Boy. Sorry but there is just no way. Michael Modest isn't near as tall as the All American Boy whoever he is. Also All American Boy had hair. Modest was already balding by then. Also his physique looks way different. Modest was much more built. They say Harley Race is the booker but I also doubt this. Sure it kind of looks like him but one very notable thing that I noticed watching it was that the booker had a southern accent. Harley Race does not have a southern accent. He is from Missouri. He has a very clear non-mistakable very midwestern accent. As for the Pitbulls. The guy they say that is Gary Wolfe has short hair. I've never seen Gary Wolfe with short hair. Physically yeah it kind of looks like him but not enough to make me think it's him. the guy in the show is much flabbier than Gary Wolfe is even now at an older age. As for the guy they say is Anthony Durante sorry but his physique doesn't even come close. I'm not saying they aren't them but I'd be very surprised to find out for sure that any of them are. The only one that I wouldn't be very surprised about is Harley Race because of how much it looks like him.

Stunt Granny was from this show was she not?. I actually found it entertaining and it came out over here in the U.K (at least as far as I am aware) in 1999. That was when the parental groups were starting to complain again (which lead to Right To Censor in WWF in 2000). IMO the program can be viewed as two ways one to shut up the parental groups by saying 'yeah we already know how it all works get off your high horse' and also from the parental groups point of view to say 'look it';s all fake!'. Which is a dumb angle as most fans knew the bushiness was scripted before the 50's (I think it was the forties when that newspaper carried the results for the next days wrestling a day early which confirmed what a lot of people thought at that time anyway)

It's pretty impressive that people still don't know who the wrestlers on there were, what with the internet, shoot interviews and the like.

I'm pretty sure i've figured out who some of them were
Private Pain = Micheal Modest
Colossus = Justice Pain
Slither = i think Christopher Daniels juding by his look and voice,and it would make sense since he was becoming a big star on the indies around this time (1999)
Brute Force = Pitbull #1 Gary Wolfe,evident by his ring attire (strangely similar to what he wore in ECW) and voice (during the in ring expose',intresting that they didnt mask the wrestlers voices during those parts)
Skullduggery = Pitbull #2 Anthony Durante for same reasons as his partner
It is still a mystery really,so i could be wrong Pete

Not to change the subject so drastically, but has anyone attempted to create these wrestlers in the WWE games?
