I have decided to get a 360 when SD v Raw 2007 comes out (I got a pretty good tax refund this year ;D).
Not because it will have better graphics then the PS2 version. No because I like the sound of loading up music from my CD collection and using them as Entrance music.
I have always wanted to use 'Cochise' by Audioslave or 'Hysteria' by Muse as entrance music.
And if Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman are in the game I can get them to come out to their proper ECW entrance music.

And if Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman are in the game I can get them to come out to their proper ECW entrance music. Don't get your hopes up, my friend. Let me recount a story to you. After the release of "Godzilla: Save the Earth", I got to know one of the guys who worked on the game via a message board (And I know what you're thinking, its the internet....but he was confirmed to be legit, 100%) . For those who don't know, STE was the sequel to "Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee" which when ported from GC to X-Box was given custom soundtracks, so, everyone assumed STE would have them too. Not so. I believe the story went something like this. Tracks were planned for the XB version, but were pulled after Sony pitched a fit. Basically, they see custom soundtracks as an "exclusive feature" and if the XBox gets an "exclusive feature" Sony demands one too. Well, this wasn't logical, as if the PS2 version had an exclusive character, no doubt X-Box owners would be very mad, so, custom tracks were pulled entirely. This is not an isolated incident, either, from what I've been told, as game developers are constantly forced to cater to inferior hardware (Like it or not, Sony fanboys, PS2 is the least powerful system of its generation. And I own and love several PS2 games so I'm not a hater). So, yeah, don't get yer hopes up. BTW thanks for the pin, Spike....only took me almost 2 years here to get my first pinned thread!

It would be good if they put classic entrance music in even if that legend will not be in the game.
I mean I don't think it will be a pain for Yukes to do. You could have:
Earthquake's entrance music or The Four Horseman theme. And 'Lets Get Rowdy' or maybe not (remember that stinker from when Ron Killings and Road Dogg where a tag team in the WWF?).

I've said this for years, even e-mailed it in to THQ. It seems like the easiest idea there ever was, but no, instead they give us awful original tunes, or....a different version of the same crappy rap song 3 times.

That goes along with my suggestion for music. Have all the themes and videos for every WWE Superstar, even if they're not in the game.

I wish I could afford a 360, but reckon I'll be getting the PS2 version. My main hopes are Sabu, much improved season and gm modes, and for this game to take the reversals and selling from DOR2.
And Rock and Austin need to be legends- a WWE game without them just feels wrong.

What's the chance that Viscera is in this game?
Heck, what are the chances that "Visagra" is in this game?
Hey, Hogan! Guess who you face tonight!

I am pretty psyched for the game to come out. I only wish they would have something where you could edit your own Titantron, COMPLETELY edit your entrance (DOR), and have your choice of Entrance Music (much like everyone else had said.)
Here's Hoping!

I would really want an improvement on table mechanics. I'm really tired of seeing characters carrying tables while walking around like it's a logical thing to do. And I would like an improvement on table grappling, like you know, when you whip your opponent to the table, he doesn't jump up, and land sqaurely on his back on the table, I want him to have his upperbocy resting on the table while he's still standing up, then I could do like standing suplex through the table, without stepping on it.

The games usually release around week 2 of November in the US. This one will likely be the same.
As for Boogeyman, he was confirmed, but then removed from the list. I'd expect he's in, however.

And I would like an improvement on table grappling, like you know, when you whip your opponent to the table, he doesn't jump up, and land sqaurely on his back on the table, I want him to have his upperbocy resting on the table while he's still standing up, then I could do like standing suplex through the table, without stepping on it. Exactly, I've been suggesting this for years, even sent Yukes mail about it (Try and guess if they responded) Tell me this isn't the best damn table system you've ever heard of. No more of this stupid "hit someone with the table and they're now automatically laying on it" crap. Instead you set the damn table up, and here's how it works. Once the table is set up, it becomes an interactive piece of the enviornment. It doesnt get moved aside when someone touches it, it stays where it was placed unless picked up or pulled. So, if I'm doing a move like a superplex or a running powerbomb where the table is in the line of fire.....THE GUY GOES THROUGH THE FRIGGIN TABLE! Furthermore, here is how table grapples would work. A normal irish whip has the guy leaning on the table (like you mentioned) a la leaning on the railing outside the ring. You can now grapple them and utilize any of your table grapples (which would be a new grapple catagory in CAW) such as powerbombs, press slams, suplexes, piledrivers, ETC. A strong irish whip towards the table would result with them laying on top of the table (This can also be done by grappling them, dragging them to the table and doing a strong irish whip command, which will see your wrestler realistically lay them on the table) and you can now hit top rope moves and the like. God, why don't I have a job with Yukes.....
