Sorry Pegasus. You're right I mis-typed in a 1 before the 3 of one song, so I wrote a message beneath the Ranking Graphic. Next Theme will be posted a little later. I might be wrong, but based on Styker's judging comments, it appears there might be an error in the ranking sheet regarding another song on the list. His comments contradict a really high score for one of the songs.

Ok heres my resoning for "In TIme".....
This round is supposed to be about making weird choices. So I asked myself what I would want to pick that wouldn´t make any sense otherwise in the competition. I narrowed it down to 3 attributes I wanted the Song to have. 1. I wanted it to be a power ballad because I love those. 2. I wanted it to be a movie reference. 3. I wanted it to symbolize my current feeling of being in love.
"In Time" kinda represented all three of those things. Plus it makes me smile...

Just one more thing (not trying to overspeak in this thread) ...
Strykerdarksilence has probably my favorite sig of all-time on these boards.
That is all.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, I guess I make it contest-related. Contestants, you have a fun assortment of judges because there are such different styles represented. Some of the "fluff" that might get over with a couple of us is sure to be massacred by one judge, whereas the fine line between "unique and obscure" aggravates one or two of us if you cross it, but is welcomed wide open by a couple of others, it seems. Recognizable classics win a couple of us over, whereas I can see it weighing less with someone else on the panel. This will be a barnburner of a competition. I can already tell it.
And personally, I thought those who used this opening "audition" round to get out a song that would just test the waters and speak your own personal voice was the right thing to do. To me, there's no better round to take a chance than in this round since you know you have two rounds to make it up if your "out there" choice got tripped up. I, for one, am glad so many of you went that route. That's exactly what I would have done in this round with so many contestants. I mean, the theory is, at least one or two might soften the blow if your choice didn't exactly fly the first time around.
Ok, now that is all.

Thanks though! 19 songs x 4 judges scores are hard to keep up with. Sorry about that, now fixed. GDR, I apologize, you are actually ranked 6th rather than 11th! Everyone ranked after you is actually one rank lower than the graphic shows. Any other mistakes I need to be aware of? Theme will be posted when I finish my classes for the day.

Haha, glad to see my choice got some love! Pegaus, god bless you, always nice to encounter another Silversun Pickups fan. Great band, and There's No Secrets is probably my favourite song by them, so I thought I might as well put it out there.
Bring on the next round!

Hey any idea of time of when this will end, cause I'm gonna see this out and then it's bye bye Wrestlecrap * You want to leave the 'crap? It's sad to see you go. To answer the question the game takes about a month or so, and is adjusted for each individual by when they are eliminated. But if your 'head' isn't into the game, you don't need to keep playing if you don't want to. Just let me know if you wish to resign. - SR.

doggone it, scruffy picked one of my favorites. now i can't use it as for my pick of "Snow (Hey Oh)," that is my personal favorite of RHCP and has been since Wrestlemania 24. this may sound strange, but i'm not really a fan of their older stuff.

Well Since everyone else gave their feelings on the songs I figure I shoudl as well . I am a fan of this flavor text that is being used in the show and I'll try to throw in some for each song here on out. But for now here's a little bit about the choices for this round... 1.Living Color - Cult of Personality - So I love this song. I have it on numerous CD's and couldn't help but rank it so high. I thought it was a great way to make a first impression, plus it helped that I hadn't saw the video in ages and... It rules! Good Job! 2. Dave Matthews - Grave Digger -I thought this was a good choice because of the feel of it. I love DMB and this solo effort by Dave himself. I thought this was a good audition song. Keep em coming. 3. Yael Naïm - "New Soul" - So I didn't know this song at all. I mean I guess I may have heard it in passing, but I didn't know. After hearing it I was addicted. It was the biggest shock of the songs in that I LOVED it not knowing it. 4. ELO - "Evil Woman" - MARK THE F' OUT! That is what this song made me do. It did 2 things well, came out of left field and Kicked ass! This is the way to do it if you're going for surprise. Win! 5. Cage the Elephant - Aint no rest for the Wicked - I love this song. I really like this band and this song is what introduced me to them. I'm glad I didn't know it had been used in WCI3 or I might have went with a bit of penalty, but I thought it deserved to be on up here and is a great choice! 6. RHCP - "Hey oh" - This song was a perfect choice for auditions. Chilli Peppers are awesome... and this song isn't one I would expect chosen by them. So this did what it needed to do, show that this guy knows what they are talking about! 7. Mammoth - "All the Days" - Holy Mark out moment batman! GREAT choice. There were quite a few mark out moments but I loved the inclusion of this song. Never would have expected this! 8. Robbi Robb - "In Time" - I Love some B&T... so this song took me back to a simpler time when I thought in the future we would all "Be Excellent to each other" 9. Dixie Chicks - "Wide Open Spaces" - So I thought this choice was alright. I just would have likely gone with a different Chicks song. I think this song is over done. Not my favorite Dixie Chicks song 10. Silversun Pickups - "There's No Secrets This Year" -So I really liek the Silversun Pickups... but I this song just doesn't do it for me. It's good. It's just not great. 11. Motley Crue - "Take Me To The Top" - God i wanted to love this pick. I love motley Crue... But as much as i tried I just don't care for it. The inspiration was there but I think a different Crue song would have garnered you a little more love... at least from me. 12. Grindspoon - Chemical heart - This song just kinda struck me as meh... I didn't hate it, but It didn't win me over. A few of the songs here just seemed uninspired and left me thinking this wasn't the way to audition. 13. Stereophonics - "Dakota" - I was just saying about the Grindspoon song... so many of these choices just didn't do what I wish they would have done. An audition is supposed to blow me away... this didn't 14. Soil - "Last Chance" - Again I feel like this song was just not a good audition song. Show me what you got! if this is all you got, then, I worry about the rest of the game. 15. Celldweller - "Louder Than Words" - I really wanted to like this song too. It had potential but it left me feeling blah. I don't think this is a competition worthy song and its rating is according. 16. Kanye West - "Good Morning" - Ok... so I'll go ahead and throw this out here... I hate Kanye West... This isn't his worst song, but ugh just seeing this name pop up made me cringe... I watched it and listened to it to be fair, but even with the teddy bear cuteness i couldn't get over the suck of it. 17. Jerry Whitman - "Too Bad Your Crazy" -So I hate Kanye so this had to be bad. I thought this song would have worked better in a niche category. Here it just... was awful. I understand taking a risk, but... FAIL 18. All Time Low - "Weightless" - So This was the first song i listened to... Holy Crap... I was like this is the worst pile of crap I've ever heard. I hated this so bad. It was completely excruciating to sit through... and I did it twice. I had never heard it before and will be happy to never hear it again. Please for the love of God improve your song selections after this... (don't be offended) but for real, this kinda crap isn't gonna earn ya judge points with me. Don't be offended by my comments, I just want you to realize how i'm gonna judge.
