Besides the retirement match from Wrestlemania (which is a classic) what was Flair's last great match? It feels like he had been phoning it before that match.

I think the following matches from the past few years ranged from pretty good to great
Flair vs. Angle- fun match, although people mainly remember it for the wooo of prior to it.
Flair vs. carlito- IC title
Money in the bank - probably one of the weaker ones, but i did enjoy the being carried to the back only to return later spot
Flair vs. Hunter cage match
Flair vs. Edge TLC - best match I've ever seen live
Flair vs. Big Show - ECW title
Flair vs Foley I quit- could have been given more time to develop as a feud, but still pretty good
flair vs. vince - fun street fight to conclude his final match on Raw

Ric Flair had a bunch of great matches in his last WWE run. I loved all his matches with HHH. So much came from them. I also loved his match with Orton inside the cage when Flair was in the main event and the match did reach main event standards.

In addition to the matches listed, his Streetfight with Orton early last year. It mostly played into the Batista/Orton cage match, but it was a great brawl and had Flair being Flair and selling like he was being beaten to death on the spot.

Flair vs Orton from Raw also done very well. I was hoping that would have been build towards a match but still interesting. Ric Flair I hope will add more great moments and matches in TNA.

I'll go with those listed, and I also recall a very entertaining match with Finlay, I think on Smackdown, just prior to his disappearance before the retirement angle began.

If TNA just had Flair come out, cut a crazy Flair promo and get in some sort of brawl every week, I'd start watching them again.

Ric Flair can do more in TNA then stand and watch AJ wrestle. Flair vs Vince in a street fight on Raw few weeks before Wrestlemania 24 was also decent.

I'd say his last GREAT match prior to his retirement match was the TLC with Edge.

I'm sure he can and will, I was just saying that if they had a weekly spot for Flair to be Flair, I'd watch Impact, if only to fast forward to that segment. It's a different discussion all together, but the hole TNA has become over the last year in my opinion would need something special like that to pull me back.

I would say the handicap cage match with flair and hbk, vs edge, Chavo, and the edge heads. I really enjoyed it.

I will strongly disagree with Ric Flair vs Big Show being a great match. It gets a lot of notoriety for Flair doing a hardcore match, but I think each guy uses no more than 3 moves than the entire match. Its quality would be the same if Flair just went to the ring by himself, bladed, then fell down on some tacks.
As a spectacle, it's passable. As an actual wrestling match, it's beyond horrible.

, but I think each guy uses no more than 3 moves than the entire match. So what? You dont need to use alot of moves to have a great match. The match was entertaining and that is the only thing that matters.

You can have a good match with nothing but 1 move for the finish as long as the crowd is reacting to the people in the ring and the story is told.

Flair/Edge TLC. That was an unbelievable match. Ric Flair showed us on this night even in a TLC match with a younger superstar he could still have a classic on Raw.
