I am hoping they give him a Bradshaw type run that would establish him huge. That would work well for him. He's shown tendency for the cowardly heel scrapes by by the skin of his teeth thing on Raw with cashing in the briefcase, but then calling the match off. |

Jack Swagger is the first Oklahoman to win a World Title since Jack Brisco on December 9, 1974.
This is also the first time a WWE-recognized World title has changed hands in Las Vegas since Sid Vicious won the WCW Championship there on January 25, 2000.
Swagger also becomes the second Superstar to win the ECW Championship then the World Championship (CM Punk was the first).

I like these appearances by Swagger, the crowds has been lukewarm to him at best, this way he's giving them a reason to hate him.

* Teddy Long comes out and stops the commotion. He says that Chris Jericho will face Edge tonight to see who will face Swagger at Extreme Rules.

You know if there is a hair vs. mask match at Extreme Rules. I could see this one being the one Rey finally loses. Mostly since he won at Wrestlemania, and it just seems like he needs something new. No way in hell that he's losing his mask. Sadly you are correct. I think the better way to approach the story would have been to have Punk go over and force Rey in the SES, and build from there to a match down the line where Rey wins his freedom and then do the blow off at SummerSlam Hair vs. Mask. Punk is just far too good of a character though to be stuck with Rey, IMO. The promo talent chasm between the two is so painfully obvious that Punk might start getting face pops for being so entertaining on the mic comparatively to Rey. |

Wait, why should Edge get a chance at a title shot? He lost mostly clean at WrestleMania, and Jericho only lost it due to Edge attacking him twice for no real reason other than being a sore loser.

am i like the only one who doesn't even remotely like Swagger? I was hoping for a bigger fued between Edge and Jericho for the title. oh well i knew Swagger winning would mean his run with a title.
