Maybe if Lesnar was secretly into Star Wars and shrunk in the dryer.

Not in the least. Lesnar was an absolute BEAST of a man whose physical makeup more than backed up his spot as the intimidating monster on the roster. He looked the part, and made you believe he was this ass-kicking machine that could eat anyone on the roster alive.
Swagger? He reminds me of Stretch Armstrong in a singlet. Not to say that he couldn't work a "submission machine" gimmick....I think he COULD. I just don't see much resemblance to Brock Lesnar in Swagger.

He isn't the beast Lesnar is. Though Swagger is one of my current favorites, Brock as a rare talent that coulda been an all time great. That's no slight at Jack though, just giving Lesnar the credit that he's due.
Eh I like both guys, but Lesnar is already in my top ten all time.

He's like Angle and should be booked like Angle, I have yet to see anyone that should be booked like Lesnar was

He reminds me more of Angle, especially with his new USA singlet.

People always say how there will never be another Stone Cold or Rock, but they never mention how there will never be another Brock Lesnar. The guy was was more Goldberg than Goldberg could have ever hoped to be (and I'm a Goldberg fan), and was probably the most legit guy to ever step into a wrestling ring.

Nobody is like Brock as a fighter since he is the best MMA fighter in the world...
Any one of the Gracies. Kazushi Sakuraba. Just sayin'. Gracies are overrated, and Fedor is the best MMA fighter in the world. Lesnar will lose to Carwin if they ever get around to having that match.

Eh, I dunno, Dr. Death was up there too. Swagger isn't Lesnar but we haven't seen a dominate run by him yet. Ask this question again in a few years. He's closer to Angle but he has a killer finisher and a great look so, who knows? Swagger will still be huge at this rate.

Was wondering how long it was going to take someone to mention the "Last Emperor". Not trying to derail the discussion into an MMA direction or anything but....yeah.

I don't really see it. Lesnar and Sheamus are somewhat similar, Swagger is more similar to Angle in his cockiness and look. How is Sheamus at all like Lesnar? Lesnar: monster, dominate, built up as a threat before beating The Rock, legit badass look. Sheamus: hot shotted thanks to being friends with HHH, goofy ass look, no charisma other than yelling and arm raising, made to look like a bitch against Cena even though he ended up "getting the better of him" in the feud.

Nope, I don't see it. Doesn't have that nasty "I'm gonna kill you" presence.

No. He would remind me of Angle, but there's a weird awkwardness on the mic that prevents him from being as over as he should.

Concerning the OP's post, I wouldn't buy Swagger as an "all powerful monster."

No, Swagger reminds me of Biff Tannen from Back to the Future.

Kind of... only on the basis that they both sound like goofballs on the microphone, but that's where the similarities stop.
