if he's let go, wwe will be quite the hypocrites since they have a guy who blew out both his quads while doing less than zeke still around and he's been a world champ tons of times after each quad tear

This really sucks, I was really enjoying BIG Zeke recently, he just seemed like the kind of man the WWE needs, I mean, he was a monster and you could say he was run of the mill, but lets look at the facts, he just looks so much more imposing then any of the guys WWE pushed as monsters recently, he just looks DAMN GOOD and I really wanted to see him dominate (no pun intended).
I hope he heals up fast, like faster than expected and when Drew McIntyre is still IC champ and cutting a promo about how he is the best, "THIS RIGHT HERE IS WHAT YOU CALL DOMINATION" and then Zeke gets into the ring and smashes Drew, gets on top of him and chokes him out. Zeke and Drew would be an AMAZING combination, I really want to see them, even if its not a feud, as a tag team.
Drew could come out, like if he has a losing streak by the time Zeke returns, and he probably will, and go, "You know, I have been looking for what I have been missing in my life and that is domination. I used to dominate and now I will dominate again because I have a new partner" and Zeke marches down and Zeke and Drew demolish tag division and become unbeatable tag champs.

I see a lot of comparisons between Ezekiel Jackson and Big Daddy V.
They were both floundering in the lower card until being given a shot in ECW. Both had pushes in the midcard (Jackson winning the ECW Championship, V being in the SD Elimination Chamber). Both missed the next WrestleMania following these pushes.
V was never seen in WWE again.
Let's hope the same doesn't happen to Zeke.

That's not what you call domination. Domination is fine but I'd rather see Dominonation!

I wonder if this 3-6 months figure includes the time needed to regain some of the muscle mass he's going to lose since he can't walk.
Unfortunately, this could also indirectly kill his push due to the circumstances.
Let's be honest here: Ezekiel Jackson was on some seriously powerful drugs to get and maintain a body like that. Yes, he was a bodybuilder but even they cycle down and lose their muscle tone when they're not in competition. Zeke never really did.
Add to that his mild case of gynecomastia and the fact the back of his head looked like a California Raisin and it adds up to a whole lot of drugs being poured into that 6-foot-2 frame to give him a lot of heavy, heavy muscle...more muscle than a frame that size should be carrying on a daily basis.
Like Batista and Triple H before him, Ezekiel finally pushed his body to the breaking point and his quadricep - the strongest muscle in the human body - finally gave out.
Just as Triple H and Batista did, I'd assume Zeke's going to have to drop some of that muscle mass since it probably played a big part in his quad tear in the first place.
This, in turn, might affect his push. Triple H and Batista were uppercard guys and big fan favorites and merchandise sellers so they were allowed to have a higher body fat percentage and look less jacked after surgery. I hope that they allow Ezekiel to do the same.

So, basically the only ECW guy who ended up with a sustained push was Christian

I guess, but even that's in the upper midcard feuding over the Million Dollar Championship.

Such a waste that now Christian's long run as ECW came to an end for nothing. He could've used that in an angle about how he's the longest reigning champion and still carried the title to the ring demanding to be recognized. Now he gets a match on RAW or Superstars every once in a while.

There's never a good time to go out injured, but...given his lack of momentum at the moment and his family grief to deal with, there could conversely be an opportunity here to get him re-packaged and ready for a big comeback by the end of the year. if he's let go, wwe will be quite the hypocrites since they have a guy who blew out both his quads while doing less than zeke still around and he's been a world champ tons of times after each quad tear And tons of times before each quad tear, too. Small but hugely important detail. They already knew Hunter could deliver for them at the top.
