Has Maryse regressed in her wrestling ability? She had a rather bad showing in her match tonight. I thought she was improving and showed more wrestling moves early on. Am I wrong for thinking that? She isn't a great wrestler, but it seems that she has gotten worse as time went on.

She was never really all that great in the first place. Yeah, I never understood the love they have here for the French Hooker who is lousy in the ring. Everywhere I look people just say she's hot and nothing else. And last I checked beauty doesn't equal skill and ability. |

How can you regress if you were never any good to begin with? I'm sorry, Maryse has a great character and quite hot but she has always been a terrible wrestler.

She was never really all that great in the first place. Yep. She's really hot and has an actual character, but she's a mediocre wrestler. A better version of Lacey Von Erich if you will. |

She also has taken to displaying some strange habits in the ring. Tonight, she did that "lie down for a few seconds laughing" bit again, and there's really no reason why.

Yeah, I never understood the hype about Maryse. I think she only got kind of over because she has some semblance of a gimmick.

She was never really all that great in the first place. Exactly, regression implies that she was improving at one point. She has always been consistently horrible, other than her finisher, IMHO. |

I don't think she's done much decent wrestling since she moved to Raw way back. McCool got better matches out of her on Smackdown than Mickie, Gail, or any of the ohter less experienced Raw divas.

Maryse is one of those people I really, truly want to like, but I just don't. Not good in the ring, not good on the mic, not at all distinct appearance-wise, no real charisma, tendency to corpse...
Like I said, I've tried to like her because she's the best thing in an ocean of awful, but she really isn't any good herself either. Though she is still at least thirty times better than Eve.

I can't take her seriously. I mean first off her name Maryse? Everytime I hear her name I think it's Maurice, which to me dosen't sound sexy so that's kind of a deal breaker, second she just looks like another plastic generic blond, I can't understand her most of the time and her voice isn't that sexy it sound's like a feminine Inspector Clouseau. And lastly her wrestling is terrible apart from Jackie Gayda, Christy Hemme and Ashley Massarro it's the worst I've seen. Maurice as I like to call her just sucks!

Doesn't help her when the crowd pretty much give her the ".................................." reaction. I assume these things she does are meant to draw jeers and boos from the crowd but when she does it they just give her the silent treatment and she looks/sounds ridiculous. |

Serious answer: She was never that good a "worker" anyways so I would say no.
Real answer: She might even be better than she was. She's the only Diva on the roster that actually stands out. Best diva since Trish in 04/05.
