That wasn't Khali that was Khaluger
It's easy to see how you could mix the two up though.

I'm gonna guess he simply hadn't left the country yet and agreed to make the appearance on Raw based on either promoting the movie or because Raw was short-handed due to the volcano.

Khali was on RAW?! He should've faced Khaluber
Watching Kozlov get squashed like that made quite sad though

Or maybe he couldn't fly back to begin with because of the volcano. It's not like he had to fly back to India the day after his match with Ziggler. He could've taken his time.

I think it was just for a special appearance since WWE was short changed tonight, same for Taker.

I doubt it would take him long to get back from India. Five steps and he's there

What I'm wondering is, how the legal men get counted out and only one of them win the match.

Still kayfabe wise they will probably just forget this ever happened. Did ANYTHING happen tonight that should really be considered relevant and a part of canon? Everything should be easily forgotten and not part of continuity (not that continuity matters in WWE). Although, I would imagine the Undertaker pursuing a title shot down the line for beating Swagger.

They were shorthanded, Khali was available (and a heck of a nice guy), so they threw a mullet on him and put him in a match.

The one dude said he did pull some strings to get him there, so they totally didn't pretend that his sabbatical did not happen.

By "find himself", he means appear sporadically in comedy segments, until the time comes to sort of put over a midcarder.
