- Swagger comes out and cuts a promo on how he beat two first ballot Hall of Famers. He brags that he is better at what he does than Jericho is. John Morrison got the win via pinfall. Swagger was busted open hard way in his match.

I guess I'm the only Slater fan on the boards? I'm PUMPED that he beat Jericho. It's a huge boost for his young career. The joust thing kinda confuses me, but whatever, and at least one guy's being made to look good out of the NXT lot, and I'm happy it's Heath.

Jericho should not be losing clean to any of the NXT guys. Also, the Joust is lame. Are we sure it's clean, or are we jumping to conclusions? Oh... And as one of the few people who like Heath Slater, I'm happy he wins. |

What Ive learned from NXT.
Bryan - Someone in the booking department is on meth. Sort it out, and change his stupid everyman character into the self righteous prick from ROH. Bryan is a natural heel. He just looks like he is corpsing every week as a face.
Gabriel - If he weren't good looking, or used the 450, he'd be worth nothing. Just has no charisma whatsoever.
Young - Unless he joins the SES, he goes too. If you're going to be the South Beach Party Boy, you better be oozing charisma. And the promo contest showed he isn't.
Tarver - Heavily restrained by bad booking. We need to see this 1.9 second punch already. If the booking picks up, maybe he can break the midcard.
Heath Slater - One man Rock Band? Only if said band is Kings of Leon. He's painfully bland. He will be jobbed out on Superstars.
David Otunga - Has main event potential. He has a solid gimmick, and believes in it. I dont think he will be a title holder, but he has more charisma now, than the Miz did when he started, and now the Miz is one of the top heels in the WWE.
Skip Sheffield - Im calling it now, he becomes a comedy midcard face, and a very profitable one. Give him a goofy catchphrase, and sell Skip Sheffield Cowboy Hats on WWEShop.com, the guy can get himself over. He knows how to work his Cornfed Meathead schtick.
Wade Barrett - Quite simply, the next big thing. Englands first WWE Champion. He has it all, the look, the character, the in ring presence, the mic skills, and possibly a commentary stint after he retires. The guy is just bursting with potential.

*Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre defeated Matt Hardy & R-Truth when it was ruled Hardy could not continue. McIntyre attacks Hardy after the match. The referees and Truth carry out Hardy.
*The Cage is lowered.
**Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett come out and enter the ring. Jericho says he will end Edge's career tonight and there will be "No More Spears." Edge comes out on stage and mocks Jericho for losing to Heath Slater on NXT. He says he has nothing to lose and hits the ring. Barrett and Jericho attack Edge. Jericho avoids the spear. Edge spears Barrett instead and the crowd goes nuts.

I just think Young comes across as kinda bland. Maybe it's nerves and he is finding his feet, but if you're going to call yourself the South Beach Party Boy, then normally that has some edge attached to it. Have him turn heel and basically make him a wrestling version of Mike from Jersey Shore. Hell, call his finisher "The Situation". And Slater is just nothingness to me. I dont hate him or like him. And that's the worst thing for a wrestler. All Ive seen him do is shake his hair, what is that? |

Good that I read the spoilers. Slater beating Jericho is like Scotty2Hotty beating The Rock... just much more awful. American Gladiators shit as a tournament...well...they're not even trying anymore with NXT.

Well this settles it. I'm done with NXT until the eliminations start, and maybe even past that. They have dragged this season out far too long. They're filling time with bad television & highly questionable booking decisions.
This show is a joke.
