What wrestlers do you want to see return to a previous gimmick?
For example, somebody might want to see Luke Gallows be Festus again (although i doubt anyone will give that answer because Gallows is much better off as Gallows)
My answer is Mark Henry. I want to see him come back with the "sexual chocolate" gimmick, only this time, it is changed. Instead of chasing after girls, Henry now will chase after guys. It can start with him and MVP, lets say Henry offers MVP to go to a bar to celebrate them winning some big match and MVP says he is up to that. Then in the bar Henry slides up close to MVP and gently pets his head and says, "You know Montel, you're a good looking guy" and MVP looks confused and says, "Well yeah, thats why I'm ballin" and Henry smiles and looks into MVP's eyes. MVP gets freaked out and goes "Whats wrong with you" and Henry grabs MVP and says "You wanna feel good?" and tries to drag him to a hotel room.
this continues with Henry hitting on all the guys and eventually some guys fall for him and he can come out with a whole entourage of guys, who all cant resist "sexual chocolate".
Well, now you're ideas...

lmfao. Poor Mark Henry.
I'd like to see Kane go back to his original character. I think it'd be tremendously easy to get him back in his mask. Just have somebody "disfigure" his face after a match or something. Preferably with a fireball, but they could be cheap and do the "chairshot into the steps into the face" spot. Do that and have Kane come back several months later with his mask/hair (the long absence is to explain how he got his hair back) and just start running wild on people again. Have him be completely evil, interrupting matches just to hurt people and whatnot. It'd make his role of "the guy you fight when you're getting punished" a lot better IMO.

Okay not to rag on ur idea or nothin, but what is the point really beside changing how he looks? Kane can still do the same exact gimmick without the mask and he is pretty much doing it. He still looks like a monster, the real problem is that he has been getting fat and lazy, not that he doesnt look like a monster.

Just noticing a trend with you. This is the second one in less than a week where you have suggested a homosexual slant to someones gimmick. You first did with with Kozlov and William Regal. No Mark Henry should stay with his Worlds Strongest Man gimmick or if he ever has to use a previous, let him use the Silverback gimmick that most have forgotten about. Bring back this theme also. That theme was excellent.

I realise that arguing about continuity with regard to Kane is a lost cause, but in kayfabe doesn't he already believe that he's disfigured?

Is it too late for Hulk Hogan to become Thunderlips, the Ultimate Male again? In that case, I'll take Big Show as Captain Insano.

Agree with almost everything in this thread so far. Although obviously not in WWE anymore, I would have liked to have seen Foley bring the Mankind character back, and was hoping he'd do a variation of it in TNA.

Johnny Nitro.
At this point Morrison reprising that role would be entirely counterproductive, but I would've loved to see a paparazzi-swarmed glamorized prettyboy made into a top heel. No, not a guy who wins the ECW belt as a stand-in and changes his gimmick afterwards, but the original MNM-type who was a smug, self-obsessed fashion victim with a vicious meanstreak.
Combine the Nitro who attacked Super Crazy and Cena in early 2007 with the regular version of him and the snarky promos that characterize his Morrison gimmick, but with the celeb thing played up to the maximum. Take his character's "wealth" into account. Give him a retinue of bodyguards and have him bribe other wrestlers to be his allies or attack people. Make him individually difficult to defeat, but outright impossible to wipe out because someone will ALWAYS be sure to come to his aid when he's in a jam.

Chavo back to kerwin White, although they'd never have the guts to relaunch that gimmick Poor Chavo they've completely buried him. I reckon that he'd have been released quite a while ago if it wasn't for the fact that Eddie died a few years ago while under contract. Maybe Vince feels obligated to keep him employed. If I'm wrong, I expect him to be gone very shortly.
