Suspiciously absent from the list of the unemployed are the members of WWE "creative". You know, the people who couldn't figure out what to do with all these people who were just fired. Said it before and I'll say it again: Fire your wrestlers when they can't wrestle. Fire your writers when they can't write. This times a TRILLION!!! Why should someone lose their job when somebody else isn't doing theirs?

R Truth is safe through NXT at least? Christian too? (I hate to say that but I am scared because he always loses) While losing a lot is one of the signs that WWE's about to give up on someone, they also often have guys lose a lot just to put other people over, or to set up a heel turn, or whatever. The way I see it, the people to worry about are the ones who disappear from TV for weeks at a time. Or who seem to get involved in a new angle or have their character tweaked, and then it's dropped without explanation a couple weeks later. Or who turn heel/face, and then immediately start losing without getting even a few token victories to establish their new character. Or who lose matches while the commentators barely even mention them or talk about what they're doing, and spend the entire match discussing whatever angle the guy winning the match is currently involved in.

That's what I'm kind of afraid of with Christian. Seems like he's not important anymore now that ECW is over. Loses all the time. Is on NXT but the focus is on Slater more than him I think.

Christian's only lost to Ted Dibiase. I doubt that's a signal he's about to be released.

Why should someone lose their job when somebody else isn't doing theirs? Gotta disagree. Great talent gets over despite terrible writing or a complete lack of it. Even when guys like Rock and Stone Cold had shitty storylines written for them, they remained mega-over despite it. The analogy above reminds me of when NFL fans say that their bust QB would be amazing if he just had ___ and then go on to make a massive list like great O-Line, top notch WR's, good running game. Um, wouldn't EVERY QB look good if they had the NFC Pro Bowl roster surrounding them? Simply blaming creative and saying any of the released folks, including Shelton and Mickie would be the hottest thing in the biz if they just had a great angle written for them is the cheap way out...just my $0.02.

I sincerely doubt R-Truth will be released. He gets a good reaction from crowds and actually wins a substantial amount of matches. I think he may end up going to RAW post-draft rather than Smackdown, but I don't think he'll be released.

Wasn't Knox just Snitsky version 2.0?
And Jimmy Yang admits he got fired for drug usage? Not the smartest move if you're looking for a new job, even it is with TNA (as he implied).

I don't think that's what he's talking about. We would have heard about a 2nd wellness suspension in there somewhere and then of course a 3rd recently. I'm guessing he's talking about it being his 3rd run in WWE. First after the WCW purchase was released before being called up from developmental, then he was brought back as Akio in Tajiri's stable and then released, and then re-signed again and brought back as Jimmy Wang Yang.

Yet, Hornswoggle is still employed! He sells merchandise you know! I'm kind of shocked with Mickie James though. It just shows that it does not matter if you are the most over diva on the roster. You can always get fired. Wish it was the case for most people.

Yeah, Matt Hardy sounds not too good right now.
I'm most upset about Shelton from the releases. He had a good run though. I'd like to see him and Haas reunite.
