The E would have absolutely, positively no clue what to do with the likes of Awesome Kong. She should continue to run wild and free in independent promotions that "get" her. But if you aren't a former WWE Diva or a model then you'll get paid minimum wage or barely above minimum wage in the women's wrestling circuit outside the WWE. One of the biggest factors of her leaving TNA was money. Same thing with Gail Kim. |

But if you aren't a former WWE Diva or a model then you'll get paid minimum wage or barely above minimum wage in the women's wrestling circuit outside the WWE. One of the biggest factors of her leaving TNA was money. Same thing with Gail Kim. Kong would be lucky to even get TV time in the E, and dollars to donuts, she'd be a comedy heel whose deal is that she's so much uglier and fatter than the Smart, Sexy, and Powerful(TM) WWE Divas(TM). She'd be booked like a male Viscera who is supposed to be 1,000 times more unpleasant and unsightly and if she's lucky, would end up doing the job to Kelly Kelly, who is a properly Smart, Sexy, and Powerful(TM) WWE Diva(TM). If she did sign, she'd most likely rot in Florida until the months turned to years and nothing became of her career, and apparently, the pay in Florida is horrendous (she'd probably make more in the indies/Japan). It would be unlikely she'd even get called up to the TV pay windah. Awesome Kong is a tremendous wrestler and a great talent, but she's a square peg and all they got in Stamford is round holes. And I'm standing by that analogy, by the way. |

They should bring in Awesome Kong as The Miz's kayfabe girlfriend.

they'd do it wrong. all wrong. I don't want to see Kong setting up Kelly's crappy backflip spot that takes like 8 minutes to set up, I want to see her ripping her competition in twain. she should go back to Japan. Is that what she's doing now, by the way?

WWE only likes bikini models. Two women who were known to be good wrestlers already got released in Mickie James and Katie Lea. There is no way WWE would sign Awesome Kong. If they did, she would be in FCW for years.

I would mark every which way.
Kong is by far the best-known wrestler that has ever wrestled in my town, so I would be a fan. It helps that she is a legit beast too.
I've always wanted a diva who just fights for the thrill, not a diva who feuds over a man, their weight or a title.

I'd kind of like to see the Divas who aren't known for wrestling (like Kelly Kelly, Tiffany, The Bellas etc) have some sort of beauty contest thing (similar to the Diva Search, but with actual Divas) over a couple of weeks. And then when they're all in the ring at the end, Kong appears and destroys them all. She then works her way through the better Divas like Gail Kim, Michelle McCool and then we get the match between her and Beth at SummerSlam. It's pretty lame I admit but it would get Kong over. It's not lame at all actually. Your logic is to use people to their strengths and have it ultimately end with a big match people would pay to see. That's good. In fact, the only thing I'd add is that while Kong is dominating one show, Beth could be on a similar tear through the roster on the other. Both seem unstoppable, until all that's left is each other... Hell, even with a horrible build, I'd seriously order a PPV to see that match. |
